This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We thoroghly enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. We found out things about NYC that we never knew and we are from the area! We liked it so much that we are doing another tour next weekend. Very well done! |

We came on this tour expecting it to be a food tour but instead got 2+ hours of the history of the immigrants of Greenwich village and a tutorial of local architecture. While some of it was interesting we spent only about a 1/3 of the tour talking about and tasting different foods.
Additionally, most of the food we tasted were pretty common foods and nothing special at all. It would have been better to taste foods that are specialities of the local shops and are not something you would normally eat. (Pizza and gyros are not something I expected to be tasting - I can have that anywhere).
Finally, our tour guide was sweating profusly through the entire tour and he kept wiping the sweat off his face with his hands. It was disgusting since he also touched the plates and napkins we were to eat from.
I didn't like the tour or the tour guide and felt I wasted my $40.

The tour was great. Our tourguide was very informative. We learned a lot. The only thing was that we ate food at the beginning and then not again for a long time. Then we ate a lot. The food needs to be dispersed better so that you eat throughout the whole tour. It was fun. |

I really enjoyed the tour. This is such a unique area of New York it was fun not only to see all the shops and try the food, but also to learn about all the history. |

Our guide, Amy, was delightful. She seemed to really know the area and made the walk more fun with lots of local trivia.
The food was great. We really appreciated having her point out some of the local restaurants that are not in all the tour books. We ended up going back to Palma for dinner on Saturday night.
I would definitely plan to do the Chelsea tour on my next trip to NYC. |

My husband and I were visiting our grown children who live and work in Manhatten. They loved the tour and were excited to get acquainted with Greenwich village. We all enjoyed Cindy's descriptions of the neighborhood buildings and architecture as well as some of her insights into the history and culture. She was lively, funny and very knowledgeable. The foods selections were wonderful, and the tidbits of information about the family owned shops were fun and delightful. I am certain our children will bring their friends and come again. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon! |

Our whole group thoroughly enjoyed our food tour. Not only did we taste some of the finest foods the village had to offer, but we learned about the area's architecture, development, culture, and history. Our guide was knowledgeable about the businesses and residential buildings that we saw and we are confident in her restaurant and evening entertainment recommendations. We look forward to trying another tour on our next visit! Well organized and thanks for a great afternoon!

It was a great day, Cindy is a vibrant an entertaining Tour guide. We got to see New York in quite a different way. It was nice to see the neighborly way Cindy interacted with everyone she came in contact with. We learned a lot about the local history and architecture as well as tasting some very tasty food items. It ended all too soon. |

Our guide was very well informed about the area and has a terrific personality. However, I expected more in the food stops - a better variety as opposed to the majority being Italian. |
