After two days of terrential rains, we woke to a beautiful saturday morning. Met everyone at 10:45 am. First stop the best tasting pizza I have had in NY. Most of the food appealed to everyone in our group. Barry our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgable. We all very much enjoyed spending the 3+ hours with her. We will definitely do another one of these tours next year. |

My husband, my friend and I had a great time walking around Greenwich Village on the tasting tour... the tour was interesting and the food was great! We especially liked the bread, cheese and olive tastings. Will gladly recommend this to friends! |

It was fabulous. Our tour guide Cindy was so knowlegable and fun!!! I could have toured with her all day. She knows Greenwich Village and loves doing this tour, and it shows. All the food tasting stops were out of this world. I love the small family owned businesses, and it refreshing to see them thriving in Greenwich. This is a must do!!! A special thanks to Cindy, and all of her enthusiam. I would do this tour again and I want Cindy to lead. I can't say enough good things about her or the tour. Just experience for yourself!!! |

the faqs said that there would be enough food that you wouldn't need lunch. i am a modest eater and was very hungry. i also did not expect the talks about the buildings in the area. some eateries were discussed but not entered. i was disappointed. i will not recommend. |

Our guide was excellent. Sorry to say, we did not get his name. He has lived in Greenwich Village for 22 years (has a white well-trimmed beard) and was very knowledgeable about the area. His stories and history of Greenwich Village were most interesting. Would recommend this tour to anyone who might ask us about it. |

My daughter and I greatly enjoyed learning about the history and architecture of Greenwich Village. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed learning about the different restaurants (unfortunately our short stay in NYC did not allow us to go back to any of the restaurants -- this time anyway). Our tour leader was very knowledgeable. |

Excellent tour guide --- was very knowledgeable about the history, culture, food establishments and knick knacks of the area. It was a continuous relay of information throughout the 3 1/2 hour tour. She was constantly giving information at the different stops she made - counted about 30 stops made in the area - either for historical information or yummy tasting of the food establishments visited.
Pace of tour was okay for me, even with bum arthritic knees!
Samples tasted at different establishments were typically sample items and served the purpose of the tour.
How about starting an hour earlier? That would give more time for browsing around the area after the tour especially if time in New York is short. |
