I've lived around the area for 8+ years and this was great. If you're looking for something to do outside on a weekend, this is it. I'm a foodie and I loved it. Educational, fun and great treats!! We were stuffed at the end of the trip. Cindy our tour guide was awesome!! She was extremely informative and funny.

Our guide was very informative in all phases of neighborhood history past & present and all the wonderful food tastings. We found your choice of shops & tastings to be a nice mix. I'm in NYC often as I live in NJ but learned many new things during the tour @ the village and discovered new places to dine & drink We stayed in the area after the tour made some purchases from the shops we visited and strolled/explored other streets . We ended our evening with a delicious dinner. We brought friends with us and they told us they had a wonderful day. truly enjoyed the tour and tastings. We all want to come back and join one of your other area tours. Thank you for a very interesting day.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She spoke very clearly (and I appreciate this because I am hearing-impaired) and she answered all of our questions! The ONLY drawback for me was that our food tastings were focused on cheese (pizza, cheese samples, cannoli) and it would have been nice to get more variety (proteins, veggies) in the food groups. Also, it would have been great to have 5minutes "free time" to shop at some of the stops....so that we don't have to come back again later. I will definitely visit your company again! -Ana

this tour is outstanding!! We were celebrating a BIG anniversary and our daughter and her family gifted us with this trip!!! The food, the location, the history, and the extremely knowledgable tour guide , Cindy, made for a memorable experience. Her attitude, humor, and historical information about the area were five star! We really enjoyed the fact that there were also Australians, Italians, and other New Yorkers with us. A truly International day with international foods. We loved the pace of the tour as well as the different samplings. We would recommend this tour to all ages!! Have fun and bring your appetite.

This is the second time I've taken the Greenwich Village tour! I loved both tours. The guides were very informative, not only about the food, but also the history and the culture of the village. We went to three different restaurants on the second tour so that was a plus. The first stop was at Joe's Pizza which serves great NY pizza. The second stop was at O & CO. for a oil tasting. (I went back there and bought some flavor olive oils). My favorite on both tours were Faicco's rice balls. I know there is another name for these delicious rice balls. What a hidden treasure Palma is. We had a cauliflour dish that was simply delicious! I'm going to try and make it at home. I loved hearing the history of Cornelia St. and the people who have lived there. We walked to Centro Vinoteca. It was nice to sit down and have a glass of wine with a wonderful risotta mushroom dish. Plus the bathrooms were nice and clean. We were off to Milk and Cookies for a delicious chocolate chip cookie. The history of this neighborhood was fascinating. It is a part of NY that I really didn't know too much about. We then walked back to Bleeker St and Murray's Cheese shop for a sampling of wonderful cheeses. And to top the whole experience off, we ended our tour with cannolis from Rocco's pastries. A perfect ending to a wonderful NY day. Thank you!

was great to learn about the architecture of the neighborhood. if it's cold, wear lots of warm clothes, as you are not inside much and you're not constantly walking. great food!

Hello, I went on this tour with my parents who are in their 60's. This was a great tour for all ages. Our tour guide Burt was super nice and helpful. He answered all the questions and has some great information on the history of the buildings in Greenwich village. I never told my father it was an eating tour so needless to say he was shocked at all the food that was offered. I've lived in the city for 6 years and I didn't know there were so many gems so close to me. I really love the history part of the tour and would even like a little more. Burt did a great job and I can't believe it was his first tour! Thanks again, Stephanie

I've lived in the village for a few years now and learned more about the places and history than I could have just from walking around. He really brought the neighborhood to life with humor and wit and showed us things I would have never noticed or even known about! Bert clearly was not just reading from a script but has personal experiences here. The tour was the perfect combination of history and food knowledge. The tour went smoothly, with no glitches and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the neighborhood and get to try a ridiculous amount of food!!

Bert was fantastic! He had a ton of information for us and was super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour...learned a lot, and loved every one of our tastings. We are so glad that we discovered this tour and are planning on going on every one that they offer. A great way to learn about our city through our stomachs. We would definitely recommend this to everyone looking for a unique adventure.
