My daughter and I enjoyed our recent tour of Greenwich and Soho. Our guide (Marie) was organized and enthusiastic and we enjoyed the historical aspects of the tour as much as the tastings!

Great tour for every "foodie" visiting NYC! The food was amazing and we loved learning a little history as we sampled.

Brilliant introduction to Greenwich Village

Marie was a fantastic guide whose knowledge of the area and it's restaraunts and stores added to our experience. As a former local of Greenwich Village, Marie clearly knew what she was talking about and was able to offer excellent tips on eating and the history of the place. It was our first day of touring NYC after arriving the night before and this was a wonderful introduction to our immediate neighbourhood and it certainly made us feel more comfortable. Well done Marie and we're happy to recommend this tour to friends of ours who are visiting NYC in the next 6 months. Cheers, Brendan & Linda

Fun tour guide, great local places to visit
Fri, Mar 16, 12   12:00 PM shellnole Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Individual
This was a great walking tour and not really too much walking. The local places we visited were fantastic, I even went back to make several purchases from 4 of the places we went to. We were not really allowed to shop while on the tour, so we kept with the 3 hour schedule, so it was nice to go back and take my time shopping and getting some really yummy food to bring home. I will do this tour again and bring my Mom because it was not too much walking for her to handle. Our tour guide was local and fantastic. Murry`s cheese shop was great and Milk and Cookies was to die for. I even bought some of the mix to take home and bake. I am so glad I took this tour and will go back to most all locations we went to on the tour when I am back in the city in May!

Not a lot of culture

I expected more "culture" in the tour because it was advertised as such, but the tour only covered a few streets. There were good introductions to some restaurants/shops in the East Village -- perhaps too good; the intros were like live ads. The tour guide was good -- she spoke well, was amusing -- because, of course, she was also an actress. It was something different to do; you definitely felt like you had enough to eat, even though you only had small amounts at each stop.

LOVED the shops, restaurants and information provided by our awesome tour guide, Heather. There was absolutely nothing that we didn't enjoy about this mini excursion into The Village.
