What a fantastic tour. We met our tour guide Barri outside Murray's Cheese Shop on Bleeker Street, and we were wondering how the tour would go, as it was extremely cold, and snowing intermittently, and the tour was to last for three hours. We need not have worried, because from the moment we started the tour of Greenwich Village, the cold and the snow did not seem to matter, Barri was extremely knowledgeable and interesting, we learned so much about the history of the shops, restaurants & the area, and the food tastings were fabulous, and three hours seemed to pass in 3 minutes. The only problem was that we wanted to go back and eat in every establishment that Barri took us to, so that means we will have to visit New York again, and this time stay closer to the village. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York, it was truly wonderful, and worth every penny. Thank you Barri.

I booked the Greenwich Village Food & Cultural tour for myself and my boyfriend; it was a surprise Christmas gift for him (he's impossible to shop for). A few of our friends and family joined as well, and while I felt slightly nervous before it started that it wouldn't live up to people's expectations, we ALL had an amazing time. Even though it was very cold (definitely dress in comfy shoes and layers) our tour guide (or guidess!) Sefra took us to about 8 wonderful places giving us rich history "lessons" and a ton of humor to boot. This was a definite highlight of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you Sefra.

I thought the tour and the guide were fantastic. A lot of fun. Casual, friendly, and the food was terrific. We leanred a lot about the area and really got a better feel for that part of New York plus a lot of information on great places to eat. Would defintely recommend to others.

Vivacious hostess whose residence in the area and love for it enhanced her presentation. Food offerings were good but personally I'd like more things with meat or protein in them. I did learn that a "leisurely pace" for a New Yorker is not a leisurely pace to those from elsewhere--my friend and I had to run to keep up, and we were unused to walking in slush and snow which were plentiful the day of our tour. The timing with a "sit down" place half-way through was good.

This is our seconds food tour we have been on. The first was in Chicago and we had so much fun and learned so much about the city, we had to do it again! And this time it was even better! The organization was great, the information great and the food Fantastic! Its really a great way to learn about a city and many of the restaraunts we learned about we went back to and had the BEST meals we had in New York City. I would recommend it for everyone.

My children, ages 14-28, and I took the West Greenwich tour on New Years' Eve day and had so much fun! The selection of eateries was perfect and the culture and information segment of the tour made us want to come back for more. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and peaking our interest to want to know more about the city. It was a nice change to spend a day out of midtown. We will definitely schedule ourselves for another tour of a different area on our next visit. Thank you so muich for a great day at a very reasonable price!

Saphrina our guide was fantastic! That girl has a million jokes and really knew the area being an indigenous (sic?) New Yorker. Can't wait to take another tour!

A wonderful 3 hour introduction to the history and cuisine of Greenwich Village. I only wish we lived close enough to go back and follow-up on the many excellent recommendations that came out of the exploration of the restaurants and family-owned shops that fill the area. Our tour guide (Heather) was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
