Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

It was my 2nd food tour. I liked the first one I did of soho and the village so much I came back with a friend and my twin girls age 12. Everyone loved it. The food was delicious, the walking and information about the neighberhood was really interesting. The guide was nice and knew so much about the area. I am originally from NY and I think this is a great way to really get to know a neighborhood. I will use the booklet they gave out to try some of these restaurants on future visits.

This is the second time that I have done this tour, this time bringing my brother and his wife. I was so happy to do it again and they were super enthusiatic about it as well. We are all people that like food and enjoy learning. This is what this tour provides. The tour guide was super charismatic and friendly as well as knowledgable not only about the specific stops we made but also about different foods' production, architecture, local history, and made great recommendations of other places to check out in the city. The foods were awesome and we definitely did not need to eat more afterwards....although we did. Could not recommend this enough for anyone mildly interested in food to those in the industry (as I am). Couldn't be better! Can't wait till the next time...maybe trying one of the other locations...maybe not.

We really enjoyed the tastings at a variety of places in Greenwich Village. Our guide was great at making us feel comfortable and explaining the history of the neighborhood, history of the shops, famous residents of the neighborhood and a little bit of architecture and housing history in NYC. Really though, it was about the food! My wife and I enjoyed this tour as a part of an anniversary trip to NYC. We would most certainly do it again!

I took this tour with my 3 young adult daughters on a 31/2 day trip to NYC on the advice of a recent acquaintance who had enjoyed the tour with friends. We all agreed that it was wonderful and "recommendable" to others. The food was very special, and we gleaned so much history and culture of Greenwich Village from the tour. We all thought that it was a worthwhile adventure during out brief stay in NYC!

some truly excellent food, a nice walking trip, lots of variety, good pacing ... I'd do it again and certainly recommend it to anyone interested in great food and seeing a fascinating neighbourhood in NYC.

What an amazing experience with Cindy at the helm! My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by touring Grenwich village and experiencing the small town in the heart of the big city! We will highly recommend this to all of our friends!!

This tour was easily the best part of my trip. I was traveling to New York on business, and it was a really nice break. Our tour guide, Bari, was fantastic. She did a wonderful job of showing us the area & making me feel at home. THe other members of the tour were also lovely. And the food was out of this world. I would (and already have) recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
