Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

great tour, but very small area cover, so not a lot of walk!

I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is just visiting NYC for the first time or for someone (like our group) that wanted to really see/sample a certain area of NYC. Our tour guide, Sephra, was so hilarious and wonderful. She, of course, took us to the planned locations (all the food was amazing) however also pointed out other restaurants to try and knew a lot about the history of Greenwich Village which was fascinating to learn. Don't even hesitate to book this tour and if you want someone with a wicked sense of humor Sephra is your gal.

Outstanding tour. fun, informative, delicious. by the end of the tour, my wife and i were so stuffed we skipped dinner. our guide kerry ann was fantastic. had great stories, facts, figures, and insight. she deserves a raise!!!

Our tour guide was so good... Kurt was funny and really got us into the culture and food of Greenwich Village. We only wish we had taken this tour at the beginning of our trip so that we could go to all of his recommendations! The food was delicious and unique.

Great tour guide, great information, great history, great food!

My mother and I had a fantastic time on our Greenwich Village food tour with Bert. It started out chilly and wet, but Bert handled the group with aplomb and a sense of fun, which led the group to relax even while it was dismal outside. Bert's enthusiasm for the food, the venues, and for the Village was evident throughout the tour. His enthusiasm was contagious and we all enjoyed the delectable pizza slices, cheese, cannollis, and numerous other tidbits. We learned so much about the area, as well as the history and passion of the shop owners. My mom and I loved the entire tour and are eager to go back to that area and try all of the restaurants and shops on our own. We both felt we got our money's worth and that it was a highlight of our trip. Bert let us linger at a lovely sit down restaurant where we got warm, tasted amazing wrapped dates, artichokes, and truffle eggs. We got to learn a bit about our fellow travelers and it was just the right note to punctuate the tour. Two thumbs way up for the food, the tour guide, and the whole experience. You won't be sorry.

Bert was a wonderful guide and made the best of a rainy day. We appreciated the unsolicited distribution of the rain capes. Thank you we will see you on our next visit!
