| We were 6 people, some from NYC, others LI and CT. It was the redemption of a birthday gift for one couple and the other 4 decided to tag along. We were met by Heather and she promptly gave each of us water and asked if we needed a poncho.
We learned about the neighborhood and found that the landmark info was particularly informative. The tastings were good and the pace easily managed. Because it was cold, we didn't take our free gelato. It was good when we stopped at a spot and were able to get in from the cool temperatures.
I have told others about it and hope that some of these people will try it in the future. We will look into other tours of yours in the future. |

| Unfortunately there was a nor'easter that morning but the tour guide tried to keep us in warm places as long as possible. Tour guide Heather was sweet and accomodating. Food sampling was ample. Probably would have enjoyed our tour more if it wasn't pouring. |

| Loved this experience. Our guide was very informative regarding the shops and restaurants we visited as well as the local history. It was a great way to see the neighborhood and sample some excellent cuisine. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and intersting to do in NYC. |

| Our tour guide, Cindy, won us over from the first words that she uttered. She immediately made us feel welcomed and handed my husband a tray of food made specially for him due to his food allergies...most appreciated!! Cindy's familiarity with the Greenwich neighbourhood came through to the 4 of us as she told us the history and how the area evolved as a part of Manhattan in New York City. She waved at and talked to friends along the way and at all times she made us her #1 priority. Cindy took great care to make sure that everyone was included in all that she was saying and at the same time she was very respectful of the merchants who shared their foods with us. At the conclusion of our tour we all decided to make Greenwich Village the area that we will stay in on our next trip to New York.
This tour was certainly in the top 3 of our highlights on this our second trip to New York. |

| The tour was informative and the guide was very enthusiastic.
The tour locations were unique, some spots having better treats than others. If you are truly interested in the history of Greenwich Village, then this tour is great. My date and I got a little bored, especially as we seemed to linger in some spots for a bit too long and our minds began to wander. But we are glad we went, as we got to see little hidden away spots of the Village that we had never seen before.
My only complaint would be that the guide had a slight cold and was constantly blowing her nose. It wouldn't have been a big deal if it weren't for the fact that she was handling the food that we were tasting, and it made it a bit unappetizing. At one point she was talking over a tray of food that we were about to eat, and she kept running her hands through her hair over it. This was probably an isolated incident and should not be a factor to dissuade you from going.
All in all, we enjoyed the tour. I probably wouldn't do it again, but I am glad that I can now go back to the Village and I know which spots to hit! |

| We had a friend tell us about this tour. They told us it was a must do and it was. Both my husband and I put it in our top 3 things of our trip to New York...and we did alot of stuff. The mix of food and culture was fantastic and our guide was very entertaining. We ended up going back to some of the resturants that we passed on our tour and had some AMAZING FOOD!!!! You would never know some of these places were good unless you got to try a sample or have a local reccomend it to you.
I say this is a must do in New York, up there with a broadway show and Central Park. |
