Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Great food, educational, fun group of people and very knowledgable guide (Michael).

Tour guide was very knowlegable and enthusiastic. It was fun to discover all the little gems on the side streets in The Village. Even though the tour was 3 hours, it never felt tiring. My only suggestion is less carbohydrate type food tastings and more vegies and protein. Thanks, it was really fun.

The food & historical tour of the West Village was great! As locals, it was nice to explore a new neighborhood and learn some history of the area. We found some great new restaurants that we will have to revisit.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hours walking around the west village learning some of its history & more importantly getting to taste some delicious foods. Went back to various of the stores/restaurants on subsequent days- they were definitely worth a revisit! Marie, our guide, was fun and very well informed - I feel I've seen a bit more of NYC than the usual tourist sites. You won't regret booking!

I went on this tour with my cousin when we visited NYC for the first time in October. It was just brilliant. The guide (Bari) was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the food but also the history of Greenwich Village. Good way of finding out the best places to dine, as there is so much choice in the Village, it could be quite daunting for a first timer! There are plenty of tastings to be had on the tour and you really do feel rather full by the end of it! Well worth the money, I would do it again without a doubt.

My husband and I took his parents who are from St. Louis on this tour. It was a lot of fun for us even as Brooklynites. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly. We learned a lot about Greenwich Village and got to taste some of the best foods the area has to offer. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to eat and has an interest in the Village.

This was my second time taking this tour after about 6 years and it was as good as the first time. The food was out of this world (don't eat breakfast!). Great restaurant recommendations in a city where the sheer number of options is overwhelming. Marie had great stories and inside scoops. Walking through a neighbourhood with an expert gave a real appreciation for the history of the area. Highly recommend this tour!!

Very entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide - Cindy - who knew the area inside and out. Great balance of touring around and food stops; and just the right amount of food to comfortably try everything. Didn't need to eat again till tea time! Aswell as tasting on the day we got some great information on restaurants for evening meals - wld recommend doing tour at beginning of NY visit to give time to go back to these places; I'll have to wait until I get back to NY hopefully sometime soon. Overall, a great way to spend a morning; great value for money and would happily recommend to anyone. Am hoping to do the other tour one day.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Michael Karp(guide) was absolutely delightful. We learned so much about the village and would recommend this to everyone.
