Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Bert was a wonderful and fun tour guide!! The food was all wonderful and the pace was great. I used to live in NYC and I learned some things about that area that I never knew about! What better way to experience the city than to eat yourself through it!!

Our tour guide, Curt, gave us so much more than a tasting tour. He was personable, fun, entertaining and so knowledgeable about the history of Greenwich Village. It was a delightful experience and we will definitely participate in another food tasting with Foods of New York Tours. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Our tour of Greenwich Village was wonderful. We tasted so many different kinds of foods and really felt like we got our money's worth. Our tour guide, Kurt, was very knowledgable, funny and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike.

We were in New York for a weekend in October and took this tour. What a great experience! Our tour guide -KerriAnne was wonderful. We saw and found out things about the Village which we would never have seen on our own. The food samples were wonderful, I was trying to describe to friends the appetizer we had at La Palma,it was so good. I had wanted to sample New York pizza and cheesecake while we were there and on this tour we got the best. We took a cruise from New York and told everyone we talked to about the tour. If/when we come back we will do it again!

This was a great way to get spend the afternoon. Our guide was very knowledgable (Kerrianne) and learned a lot about the area and history. The food was great and the best way to try different foods that you normally wouldn't get a chance to taste and the history on it as well. Well worth the money!!! Looking forward to my next trip to NYC to go on others.

Burt was a excellent tour guide, his knowledge and detail of the neighborhood and its trends was excellent. The tour was very interesting all the way through. I would definitely recommend this to friends and anyone who likes neighborhood eats with a splash of history..... It introduced my wife and I to a new neighborhood to visit when in NY besides the commercialism of Time Square... Loved it.

The tour leader (Bert) was organized, personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour and will be visiting the restaurants and stores again in the future. We had fun and learned a lot about the area we have been coming to for over 20 years. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Nice job.
