| Take the time to do this tour, you will see so much of the real New York that you may otherwise never see. Food is really good, so much so we stayed the evening in Greenwich Village and ate at Las Ramblas the Tapas bar. Kurt our guide was the best, really keen and enthusiastic. |

| We enjoyed getting information on the local area and tasting and learning about the variety of places we visited. The tastings were unique and varied and as we were told, quite filling, although we went back and chose certain items for our late day consumption and to take back home for sharing. The streets and garden apartments were interesting to be able to learn about, and now we are looking forward to other tours available......and one of us has planned a trip with relatives to show off another part of NYC to visitors. |

| Although we have been to NYC many times, I recently noticed this tour on Trip Advisor. It was everything I thought it would be and more.
The guide was excellent and had extensive knowledge of the area history.
The food tastings were to die for; we enjoyed every one.
I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to my friends and relatives. |

| This tour was an excellent resource to determine where to dine in NYC. The tour guide highlighted menus and affordability at around 20 restaurants in Greenwhich Village! It was also a nice peek at the architecture and history around town. Great way to learn where to bring visiting friends and give them a bit of background! |

| She was fabulous. Highly recommended as a birthday gift for a significant other or just a fun day to eat and get an educational tour of the area. |

| This tour was even better than we expected! Our guide, kirk(?), was fun, very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. He seemed to know everyone on the street and learned all of our names, making the experience feel personal and special. We learned so much about the neighborhood too, and all the food we were served was very good. What with living in a major food oriented area and knowing alot about cuisine, we both have pretty high standards. And, although we normally choose to eat a lighter fare, everything served was very much enjoyed, particularly the cauliflower dish prepared for us at Palma. Our tour guide gave us a much richer understanding of the history, culture and architecture of one of New York's most interesting areas, and our Italian heritage was very well-fed. |

| This was my first walking/tasting tour and I loved it! Our tour guide, Kurt was enthusiastic and polite which always makes an experience that much better, a good seance of humor and he remembered all of our names, something I could not have done. I thought we were given a great quality and quantity of food to sample from many different locations, which is most of why we went to enjoy ma and pa type of food that we would have never known were there or the locations. Now when visiting we know a different part of Manhatten and the delicious restaurants offered there. Also, the history of the town and little tid bits our guide had to offer of the area was wonderful to know. Absolutely enjoyed the tour and would do it again, or one of the others offered as well!!
Thank you. |

| I had read such great reviews about this tour, that maybe I built up my expectation too much? Our tour guide, Cindy, was great...but we had some real characters on our tour who required a lot of attention and it wore on everyone in the group, including the tour guide.
The main thing that I got out of it was an overview/introduction to Greenwich Village and several of the many cool places to shop/dine there. For that I am grateful as I plan to go back soon and often.
Murray's and Rocco's were definitely the highlights!
Thanks. |
