I just recently started to get into cooking and fine dining. So when I was planning to visit my sister in NY and she mentioned doing a tasting tour, I got very excited. I'd been to NY and Greenwich Village many times before, but had never done anything like this. It was a great experience in that I learned about places that I had probably passed by a dozen times, but never knew about. It was amazing to learn about the great food and culture that is in that area. All the food was fantastic, and I appreciated it because I knew that I never would have tried some of those places otherwise. My sister, who lives in NY, especially enjoyed it because now she knows of some new great places to eat, and also a little more history about where she lives. Overall, I thought this was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone. In fact, I think I might do another tasting tour the next time I'm there! Also, great job to Cindy who kept us fed, entertained, and informed for 3 whole hours!

Cindy was our tour guide and she provided us with so much information of the area that as an outsider from Texas we could absorb and really enjoy the information that she gave us. We would highly recomend thas tour to all of our freinds. And the food was really good too, but Cindy is what made it for us. Thank you, Derinda Hamblen

This is the second time I've been on the tour. It is a great way to show your out-of-town guests the charm of New York. The food was excellent. We also enjoyed the history lessons that were mixed into the tour! We were never bored.

The tour was tons of fun and the food was great and the guide, Michael, was both funny and interesting and seemed to be the true spirit of Greenwich Village. It was recommended to me by someone who did the tour last year and I would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone going to NYC. It was one of the highlights of my trip.

This tour is an excellent introduction to the unique and interesting sights and history of Greenwich Village, with delicious food included. You eat a little something delicious, then you walk and listen to a description of the surroundings, then stop to explore a hidden gem that you would have never discovered on your own, and soon its time for yet another tasting of something yummy. And this continues for 3 hours. Our guide was most informative and personable, with a great sense of humor. He took the time to learn a little about everyone in the group, which made us all feel more welcome. Then he used that information to personalize the tour. This tour is not just for foodies (though the food offered is delicious and abundant). It will also be enjoyed by people who like history, architecture, music, and literature. For me, a highlight was the stop at Chumleys Speakeasy, and a look at all the literary memorabilia there. (I am making all my friends jealous by telling them that I sat in Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald's booth at Chumleys.) This would be an excellent tour to take at the start of a visit to NY, because you will be introduced to many wonderful places that you will want to come back to to eat and shop. But go on the tour, even if it is at the end of your trip - it will inspire you to come back for another visit. I highly recommend the tour. Next time I'm in NY, I'll sign up for the Chelsea tour to get a taste of the history and flavors of another area of the City. I hope this company adds more tours of other areas of the City in the future.

Guide was extremely knowledgable about the history , food and culture, as well as the architecture of Greenwich. He was an entertaining speaker, who had lived in the area most of his life. Will take my husband on the next visit to NY.
