Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

I live in NYC and yet I would never have found some of the restaurants we visited. The samples were plentiful and we all had a great time. I would reccommend this tour especially for locals who will have the opportunity to return to the spots we sampled, for a full meal of course.

I loved this tour. The history was facinating and well reseached and delivered as we walked through the neighborhoods. Stopping in specialty shops as we walked along to taste delicious bites of home made delicacies was so much fun and yummy too!

The food was excellent! The tour guide was so much fun. Very interesting. I highly recommend this tour!!!

This food tour was over and above our expectations! Not only was it a wonderful food tour experience, with some exceptional tastings -- our tour guide was gifted with a wealth of other interesting information regarding the area, and he made the tour a very fun adventure. (We think the tour guide was a huge reason for our enthusiasm -- the best!) It was so great, we wished we had time to have booked another Zerve tour during our stay in New York. We will definitely put it on our list for our next visit. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York.

This tour was definitely worth taking. It was educational, humourous and most important of all, nourishing! Can't wait to do the Meatpacking tour next time I'm in NYC.

As a Native New Yorker, who spent too much of my mispent youth in "The" Village, I highly recommend this tour. I now live outside NYC, about 50 miles, just far enough to yearn for her often. I found that this tour was very entertaining but also informative and piqued my historical interest in the old neighborhoods of NYC. The food was worthy, however, I enjoyed the story-telling and historical references, including the architechture and the facts about the people that create the vibe and ambiance of "The" Village, those of today and yesterday, as far back as the early 19th century. I have "The" Village en quote because, as my theatrical tour guide, Michael, shared, this once quaint village, has now been split up into bastardized sections. ALAS! Though every nook and cranny is worth exploring, and the tour provides several suggestions. The food is good, the suggestions for individual exploration of food, culture and anything your heart desires are endless. The overall experience (for me)...priceless!!

I have been to New York four times and I must say this was one of the most enjoyable 3 hours that I have spent in the city. Our tour guide, Michael, was very informative, great sense of humor and he knew alot of interesting facts about Greenwich Village. The food was great!! Well worth the price we paid for the tour!!!

The tour was one of the best tours I've ever attended. We had a wondeful tour guide (Susan) - she made the tour FUN and DELICIOUS (Lots of delicious treats!!!!) I recommend this tour to anyone, even to the locals, so much to see, learn and taste!

We had a great guide(Friday 2 sep 10:30) Our group was Mom, me, wife, son and wife. We enjoyed the tour very much. We were concerned about the amount of walking and the time on feet, but it was ok. Highly recommend to others. There was a couple who have been on the tour before.
