Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

food choices were good, guide was knowledgeable, good time was had by all!

Our guide Rebecca really made the experience probably the best touristy thing we did in NYC. She was very knowledgeable as well as gracious. I would recommend this activity to anyone visiting the city for the first time (or even the second or third time).

great tour! i enjoyed it very much. my only suggestion would be to have a larger serving served during the lunch hour. (and have it be nicer than pizza).

My adult daughter and I went on the tour and found it very helpful for not feeling so "lost" in Greenwich Village. We will now be able to go back into the area with friends and eat at one of many unique establishments, all with good food. The history and architectural information was also interesting. Our guide was bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the tour for people trying to feel more comfortable in the big city!

We really enjoyed the tasting tour. We even went back to one of the restaurants that we toured. I appreciated the verbal and written material that was given to us. After the tour, I will definitely go back to Greenwich Village on my next trip to New York.

We were both highly pleased and have already recommended the tour to friends and family. Our tour guide (Cerita-not sure of spelling) was excellent. She was very exuberant and very knowledgeable. The food places were all excellent and the people were very friendly and accommodating. Even though we have been to the village many times, I certainly learned a lot of interesting facts. I am looking forward to going back and trying some of the restaurants out that were recommended. One thing that greatly impressed me was the fact that the tour director stayed behind to take care of 2 women who had travel difficulties that were beyond their control. He made sure that they were able to participate as much as possible.

Well done, interesting, food is great, Insight into the history of some of the restaurants and speakeasies, brownstones and life in the Village in general.

My Mother took this tour, and she had a wonderful time, she thought Cindy was the best. cindy and the rest of the tour group took good care of her (she is 78) in spite of the pouring rain. I have taken this tour myself twice, and always recommend it.
