Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

We loved the food tour of Grenich Village. Our tour guide, Bert, was enjoyable to listen to as well as extremely knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of information. The food was fabulous, the architecture awesome and the information impeccable. This was our favorite tour or the week. We will try the China Town tour on our next visit. Thanks again Bert and the tour company.

I have done this tour a couple of times, but not in the past few years. The tour was the best one ever. Bert, our tour guide, is who you want. He is a foodie, experienced chef and transplant to NYC, so he loves the city with a vengence. His commentary was excellent, all the food was unique and scrumptious, the walking was not demanding -- and the sheer number of tastings exceeded all expectations. My daughter-in-law, who has traveled the world, said it was the best tour she has ever been on. I will be back this fall with more friends.

This guided tour was everything that was promised and more. All of the places we visited were special and we were welcomed by the proprietors with great warmth. The food samples were all yummy and easily constituted lunch for the day, even for my teenage boys - that makes the tour great value. Our host, Marie, was knowledgeable and very personable, the kind of person you'd like to spend a few hours with. And, you get a great hand-out with descriptions of all the places you visited and numerous others so you have an insiders guide to eating in the Village that you can use for follow-up visits. Thanks for a well-thought out and tasty tour!

Thoroughly enjoyed the "adventure". Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and full of fun information that delighted myself and my friends who attended. Wish there was something like this in our area of the nation (Orlando) We will recommend to our friends!

This was my second time on this tour because I wanted my two married daughters to experience it.They loved it and so did I again .I got to see some new food establishments. Bert is an excellent guide who loves to eat and has really done his homework on the history of Greenwich Village . I look forward to doing the Chinatown tour with him when I return.

This is an amazing tour if you like history, architecture and food. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and was a key element to ensuring the success of the tour. I have recommended this tour to others and plan on taking another walking tour on my next trip to New York.
