a three hour tour that kicks over Gilligans Island! Great pace, our tour guide Bert was excellent both in his wit & knowledge, but also moving at a comfortable pace and giving us a very diverse range of foods to try and the history around them and the area. A must on your NYC bucket list. |

We had a wonderful time! Bert was a delight - knowledgeable, entertaining, and outgoing. He took excellent care of us. The food was superb; we will definitely be back to several of the vendors in the future. We look forward to taking other tours with the company. |

I went on the tour with a group of 3 girlfriends, and it was a great afternoon. The tour consisted of 8 tastings, and we definitely got our money's worth. I really enjoyed the tastings as well as the cultural history of the neighborhood. It was a great combination! Our tour guide was a local grad student, and she was excellent. I also really liked the small group size which made for an excellent tour. |

First, our tour guide was knowledgeable and very informative. Give her a 10. The food was good, but the 4 of us thought it was a little too long. We'd have preferred a couple of fewer places so the tour was not as long OR have more stops to sit, even for a short period of time. The standing for 3+ hours was the difficult part for all of us. We especially liked Joe's Pizza, O & Co. and the "cauliflower dish" place, although being able to sit in the garden instead of standing would have made a huge difference. We loved the cultural part, learning about the houses, brick, the "narrow" house, theater, court yards, etc. including "Milk and Cookies"--YUM!. Except for the sitting and bathroom part, we could have left off the "bar" place on the corner. We all felt uncomfortable sitting at the bar and not ordering anything to drink. We would have enjoyed authentic gelato or Italian ice also. The bottle of water was wonderful. We couldn't have done the tour without it (Hot day). |

Bert was wondeful and gave great information about the area and really educated us about food, resturants and the history of the area. The food samples were awesome and we had many more samples than I had anticipated. All the people in our group were so nice as were all the workers in all the places that we visited. I would encourage people to take this tour. |

We had a ball on our Greenwich Village tour. We loved hearing about the history of the area and the owners of the local restaurants etc. We ate so much and it was all SOO good. Bert was really fun and really enthusiastic and obviously interested in the food and the area and it was a fabulous 3 hours. We can't wait to come back and do some more tours with you guys. Thanks! Having been on the Foods of NY Tour to Chelsea Markets, I expected to enjoy this Greenwich Village tour at least as much. I was not disappointed in the least! Marie, our guide, was informative and entertaining. She made everyone feel welcome. The food tastings were great! I can honestly say that I (and others on the tour) pretty much swore off dinner later that day! :) Highly recommended tour! |
