I booked 3 tickets to the 1:00p.m. Saturday tour 7/12. I was traveling from Indiana to New York city on vacation & was delayed 4 hours at the airport. I left a message at 9:00a.m. on Saturday to let the group know I would not be arriving in time to make the tour. The only option I was given was to buy 2 more tickets & get one free (another investment of $84.00 on top of the $110.00 I had already spent) I believe this is inflexible. I will not use the service again. |

My mom and I did the tour during our second trip to NYC. We had already done all of the typical tourist stuff on our first trip two years ago and wanted to get a better feel for the different neighborhoods this time. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and energetic. Plus, the food was awesome! |

Having a New Yorker to tell you about the local food and the history of the area is something a tourist just can't get out of a Lonely planet. |

My daughters and I had a great Saturday learning and enjoying the flavor and atmosphere of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic as she took us all over the village. I would do this tour again and highly will recommend it to others. |

Food was great, history as well but it's the tour guide that makes it. Would love to take another tour (even the same one) with her again. |

Cindy, our guide, was fun, entertaining, and full of interesting information about Greenwich Village food, architecture, and history. She also seemed to know lots of people in the neighborhood which gave the tour an added bonus. I was surprised that there were so many New York locals who took the tour too. |

Visited NYC for a broadway show on Friday and took this tour on Sat. It was one of the highlights of my weekend. Loved our guide, food samples and group. Will definately go back to some of the restaurants I saw on the tour. The landscape/historical part of the tour (in my opinion) was enchanting. It didn't even seem as though I was in NYC at times. |

My husband and I enjoyed the walking food tour in Greenwich Village. Even though it was very very hot outside we still had a great tour and was surprised to even learn a lot about Greenwich Village other than just great food spots. Our tour guide was great and full of energy and very accomodating. To me there was more than enough food to eat. I was definitely full! The brochure they give you is very handy to have for future trips and the discounts and coupons are an added bonus for when we come back. The only downside wasn't really the fault of the company that put the tour on but we used our navigational system to find the meeting point location and when we did there were 2 locations with the same street address in New York but with different zip codes. Not knowing the zip codes unfortunately we chose the wrong one because we couldn't find the correct zip code on our confirmation/ticket anywhere. Luckily we had given ourselves plenty of time because we had to drive another 20 minutes once we realized we weren't at the right location. I guess we should have done a little more research ahead of time. All in all, this is a great tour and I will definitely check out the one for Chinatown when it comes into play! |

Disappointed in the food, pizza twice and bread a few times; did not care for standing outside to sample the food either. Not what was expected. |

I love New York (!) which makes it difficult to make this statement: The Greenwich Village food tour was the highlight of my trip. The wonderful tastes were part of it, but the area's history to which we were made privy by our guide was fascinating! I will return to the area and plan to dine at as many of the featured restaurants as possible! |
