| I brought 15 family members to NYC for my brothers 50th b'day. Our guide Sephara was well suited for this group from NJ....She wittily guided us through an intimate tour of the Village. My biggest surprise and pleasure was going inside the "Palma". I was worried this tour was going to be done from the sidewalk only..but the Palma restaurant was a stunning, sensory experience....this changed the whole mood of the tour....We all enjoyed the tour and the food we tasted was outstanding...I would only recommend a palate cleansing stop at the intermission....Well done Foods of NY and Zerve...Cris G, Morris Plains, NJ |

| Take a step back in time, sample the "best of New York," and learn the secrets that even New Yorker's don't know. Our guide was delightful. I will certainly visit these establishments again! |

| I've lived in NJ my entire life, but the most I've ever done in the Village was come in, maybe eat at one place, and then leave. This opened my eyes to parts I've never seen and would have never known to stroll through. I felt like I was in a small historic town far away.
Also, with SO many places to eat in NYC, choosing one is difficult, and often after spending so much time choosing one, does not live up to expectations. Taking this tour I learned about the places where we tasted, as well as many other places to add to the list as well. It's nice to learn about the history of the place, the history of the chef, and the philosophy of the restaurant. No online reviews ever give that much information.
Most importantly, tasting the food was excellent. There was no delay, and the eating was spaced out perfectly. It varied from pizza to dessert to appetizer, etc.... so it was never too much of one thing. The food was superb, and the portions generous. I am a hungry person and I left the tour feeling satisfied - not hungry, not full: just right.
Our tour guide was bright and friendly and full of excitement and personal experiences. Moving large groups of people through the streets and stopping and listening went smoother than I ever thought possible. Never did we go too fast, too slow, and never could we not hear her or get close enough.
Overall - I'd recommend this to everyone who comes to NYC - it's more than you'll ever learn even if you are local, and it's a great alternative to the touristy midtown features for tourists. And best of all, you don't go hungry! |

| This tour was exactly what we were looking for....an insiders perspective on places to eat other than big name chef restaurants that leave you wondering what you missed while having dinner at said restaurant. The guide was insightful and well versed in the area and provided an enjoyable dialogue. We will be taking one of the other tours that are offered our next trip to the city. Thanks |

| Even a rainy day did not dampen the wonderful time my son and I had. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, well-spoken and considerate of everyone in the group. She was consciencious about safety and keeping the group together at all times while also making us aware of not blocking sidewalks or entries to businesses. The history of the area was fascinating with many interesting details. The food tastings came from the most wonderful places. There was great variety, everything was fresh and delicious, and they were more than just tastings. We certainly did not go away hungry. I have already recommended this tour to friends and I look forward to trying the other Foods of New York tours. I also look forward to returning to this area and to the many wonderful establishments we visited. |

| Your food tour was great. My son lives in Manhattan and got some new ideas for eating out and fun in the Village. He and my sisters and I visiting, got great info, fab tastes, and lots of cultural insight of the area. Barri was our guide; she was knowledgable, organized, and articulate. Thanks for another great experience. This is the 4th tour we've taken over the years. We're never disappointed. |

| Even though it was a rainy Saturday afternoon - we had a great time on the Greenwich Village Food Tour.
We sampled foods from 9 different places - with a great variety - specialty stores, bakeries, and restaurants. We also received info about many more area eateries and businesses. Our guide was great and really seemed to enjoy speaking about Greenwich Village and had great relationships with the businesses we visited.
Next time I'm in NYC I will definitely be returning to Greenwich Village. |

| A lot of fun! As a native New Yorker, I learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood and tried many new foods. It is so easy to grow up in a city and overlook some of the richness that it has to offer. I would certainly recommend this for anyone visiting New York because it is a great way to learn about a piece of the city off the beaten path. However, I would also suggest that locals take advantage of this very interesting and delicious tour! |
