| This was my second food tour and equally as good as the first(Greenwich/Soho).
Tour guide was incredible, so knowlegable both on the area, New York in general and we felt he really knew the area. We went back to dinner at Palmo and shopped in several shops we'd been in an couple of nights later. We would stay in that area and go to those theaters on our next trip! |

| Four ladies from Vancouver/Toronto enjoyed this tasty tour with a friendly tour guide. Having taken the Soho Food and Cultural tour last autumn I expected this tour to include more history and culture away from the main streets into the quieter neighbourhood. The emphasis seemed to be more on the restaurant history and food provided rather than neighbourhood history which would have been more interesting and appreciated.
Overall, no complaints about our guide or food tasted. When our guide asked each of our names before starting out, it would be more meaningful for each person to state where he/she was from, simply as a conversational starter for this group of strangers who would now spent three hours together. We would recommend more time explaining the history of the neighbourhood be included. |

| I have taken this tour before a few years ago. Some of the highlights of that tour were not on this one for various reasons. I loved seeing the private room in Palma but we didn't do that because the oven was being cleaned, I also liked to go in and see the small stage which we also didn't and 86 Bedford with the gas leak was a disappointment. On the other side, I liked the 2 new tastings (the olive oil and gnoki). Those were both great additions. Our tour guide was good, I liked my first guide a bit better. |

| Id was really a great experience. The tourist guide was really in to her local stuff. And she was easy to understand. You really feel you know the Greenwich area after the tour. Great food and really really great cookies :o) |

| I highly recommend taking this tour. You get to experience a part of New York you might miss on a typical tourist visit. The tour guide does a great job of explaining the history and culture of Greenwich Village and takes you to some very good restaurants and food stores which provide some delicious food. My wife and I took the tour and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. |

| Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable but a little of her credibility became lost when she effused that every restaurant was the best. The first hour and a half of the tour became more like an advertorial for the restaurants versus a cultural food tasting experience. I would have enjoyed a more eclectic food tasting as opposed to a mainly Italian high carbohydrate sampling. It would have been great to interject Greek, Thai etc. foods in addition to veggie tastings. The second half of the tour was informative and interesting when we walked the local streets and learned about the architecture and importance of highlighted buildings. |

| Great local knowledge from our tour guide, lots of yummy food to try. After the tour we felt more confident about the area and returned to some of the restaurants and shops. Recommend to do early on your holiday so that you can take full advantage of the information. |
