I thought we would be covering a greater distance around the Village. We actually just turned a few corners between restaurant stops. Food was very good , would have enjoyed a bit more history and info. Sometimes I thought guide was doing an commercial for each restaurant. |

It would have been impossible to understand the rich culture of Greenwich Village by just wandering around the streets undirected. It is so much more worthwhile for tourists to have a professional guide to explain the history and present day life of the area. And there is no better method than to allow food to lead the way towards an understanding of the individuals and the nationalities who have settled here. The food was often delicious and lent a lovely new dimension to the guided tour experience normally on offer. |

Leader, Marie, was entertaining and informative, food was great, it was a cold day and she managed to keep us warm, toilet breaks at the beginning and at least two spots during, made you want to go back to the area and eat and explore. Overall an entertaining, tasty way to spent an afternoon. And don't eat before you go! |

We have been to NY many times and we are always looking for something to do. This tour fit the bill perfectly. Our tour guide, Marie, was delightful. She was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the culture and history of Greenwich. In addition she was well aware of our comfort on a very cold day. The food tastings were varied and delicious. We were quite full at the end of the tour. Later in the week we returned to have a great meal at one of the restaurants we visited on the tour. We have already recommended this tour to many people we met in NY. We are already looking forward to our next NY visit and a different tour with them. |

I travel to experience food tours and have taken quite a few within the United States. I really loved the Greenwich Tour because it was just such a well designed tour, and the content is incredibly interesting. I also had one of the best tour guides, Cindy. She is super personable, funny and knowledgeable. I am planning on visiting NYC again to experience the other tours by Foods of New York. Thank you for making my trip to NY so memorable. |

Cindy was an energetic tour guide who provided lots of laughs and interesting tidbits about the food, culture, architecture, and history of New York City. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were perfect. If only I could always eat like this! My friend who is from New York (Westchester) had not heard of this prior to my visit. She appreciated it as much if not more than I did given her new restaurant finds.
I can't wait to return to do the other NY Food Tours! |

Very friendly, informative and amusing tour guide that made the 3 hour tour extremely enjoyable. Gave us a really good appreciation of Greenwich Village and its culinary and cultural delights. We came back afterwards on our own time to some of the places we visited on the tour as we now knew where to get authentic pizza, the best cookies and other food delights. Highly recommended for visitors to NY early in their stay so you can come back too. |
