| We really enjoyed the tour and the guide. Would have preferred more local/historic restaurants and food stores and avoided the Asian vegetarian, scent/perfume shop and the the 'milk and cookies' store. |

| Our group had a nice mixture of fun people to spend 3 hours with in our favorite area of Manhattan - Greenwich Village. Our tour guide infused wit with interesting facts as we walked about and tasted our food samples. We were able to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere of a private courtyard, cabaret room, and cheese viewing room which made us feel like village insiders. The shop owners were welcoming and the fun experience resulted in our return visit a few days later. We didn't need any lunch following our tour! Highly recommended! Our next visit to Manhattan will include another tour! |

| My sister and I purchased the tour of Greenwich Village on the basis of the reviews, and it lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed getting to know the neighborhood, and of course sampling the food. Kurt, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and kept us moving for almost three hours. (And definitely provided enough food for a solid lunch.) Greenwich Village now feels like home. We both vote the tour to be one of the high points of our week in the city, and we fully intend to try your other offerings on future visits. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Because I'm a tough evaluator, and I'm always looking for some way to push the envelope, even in this case. |

| This was a fantastic tour that I would highly recommend to anyone spending some time in New York. Our tour guide was hilarious, the food was delicious, and it was a great way to get to know a neighborhood that we might otherwise have missed out on. It's worth the money and time! :) |

| This tour was informative about Greenwich Village and it's history and current use. The guide talked about how the food was prepared and the products used in each. We learned about cheeses and meats also.
He also spent time sharing ideas of other things to do during our trip.
Make sure and don't eat before going because there is so much food you can't eat it all. We didn't eat and still had trouble by the end of the tour being too full to enjoy.
We went back to one of the restaurants (Le Gigot) we visited for supper the next night. It is absolutely wonderful. Even my husband liked everything. |

| My husband and I took the Greenwich Village Food Tour while in NYC in November. We've both been to NYC 5-7 times. This tour was, by far, the best tour we've ever taken. We toured the West Village area for 3 hours and were able to taste a total of 8 different types of food. Each morsel of what we ate was delicious. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable. She was able to tells us the history of the West Village, sharing with us information about the people and culture of the area. I will recommend this tour to everyone I know. We also plan on taking another tour (in a different area) when we visit NYC again. |

| I went on the Greenwich Food Tasting & Cultural Tour over Thanksgiving week and had a blast! Our tour guide was fun and the tastings were fabulous. My only complaint is that I wish there had been a couple extra tastings. The tour description said there were enough tastings that most people didn't need lunch after; however, I'm not a big eater, yet was still quite hungry after the tour. Other than wanting additional tastings, the tour was a blast. I just wish I had time to fit in the Chinatown or Chelsea Market tours on my vacation, as well! |

| On a whirlwind weekend in New York City, we ended with Cindy's tour of Greenwich Village and we were very impressed! We started with pizza and canolis, has risotto and wine, cheeses and more! Our guide's personal stories about the restaurants, shops and their owners, locals in the neighborhood and her overall pizzazz really packed a punch. We were never bored, and even though we walked in a group of 16 I didn't feel that we were gawkers or being gawked at.
I had found this tour site by random internet searching and we waited until we arrived to decide Yes or No. Luckily we decided just in time because they do fill up and we had to go right from the tour end (by way of a shoe shop ;D) to the hotel and then to the airport.
It was absolutely worth the money, we were stuffed by the end. They left plenty of time to rest and take photos when you wanted. And best of all! On the Delta in-flight magazine on the flight home, some Bravo TV chef was talking about his favorite neighborhoods in an article, and wouldn't you know it... Greenwich Village. Murray's Cheese Shop. That pork store. We were JUST there and had tastings!
Worth it worth it worth it!! |
