Tour that filled my tummy

| The tour didn't cover much space geopraphically, bit it filled me up. I enjoyed learning about different food processes (about cheese, pizza, etc.) while learning about the local history and architecture. The food tasting were well thoughtout and tasty. I am looking forward to my next visit to the Village so I can experience more of the restaurant's menus that we sampled. |

| I thought the tour was great. I live in new york so i thought it useful to get a lot of recommendations of places I'd like to go back to. If you are a tourist I would do this as one of your first days here in NY. I thought it was very informative. The only thing I would have changed is made some of the tastings a little healthier to balance out all the cheese, fried stuff and sweet stuff. |

| We really enjoyed our tour. The guide, Kurt, was really entertaining. He gave all sorts of information from really important stuff to complete trivia (really funny stuff!), all of which added to our enjoyment of the tour. We felt we had seen all the bits that we would have wanted to see if we were on our own, without the hassle of finding places on our own.
We loved tasting everything and have tried to replicate some of the recipes at home. We returned to one of the restaurants in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Kurt did well trying to remember our names: Jane, John, Jean, Jan, Jen ...... aagh !
We would definitely take another tour if we come back to New York. |

| We were so fortunate to have Curt as our tour guide. I've taken your tours before and he was our quide two years ago. I was so excited to see his smiling face again. His personality shines for the whole 3 hours. He's enthusiastic, funny, charming, informative and thorough. I am a travel agent and always recommend your tours. No one is disappointed. Once again Foods of New York was a hi-light of the trip!

| Great tour leader (Saphra) she was very funny and knowlegable. The area was very interesting and it was great to know the history of the shops. We went back the next day to buy some cookies (Milk and Cookies) and had dinner at the Commerce. What is amazing is some of these shops look like any other small shop (Murray's Cheese) but once inside and knowing the history these shops are famous and very large going concerns. Highly recommended. |

| The tour was well thought out and provided a nice combination of tasting and cultural awareness. Our guide Cindy was fun, informative and a fountain of knowledge regarding the neighborhood. All the shop owners were also friendly and made sure we felt welcomed to their establishments. Make this tour a priority when in NY, it is well worth it! |

| My wife and i booked the tour from the UK before going to Newyork, booking on
line and the arrangments when we got there were spot on , i booked the tour more
for my wife sake thinking it would be something she would enjoy more than me, as
it turned out we both enjoy it throughly, not only did we get to see and tast the food
from some great places, but was given a intresting tour and history of the West
village, but more than anything what made it so good for us was the guide who took us on the tour, Cindy was so knowledgable ,great sence of humour, made us all feel very at ease, woulde rate her 10 out 10, on our exsperance highly recomend it.

| We had a absolutely wonderful time doing the Greenwich Village food tasting tour. Cindy, our guide was fantastic telling us all kinds of stories and the food was terrific. Next time we are staying in the village and trying some of the cooking classes and plays etc. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves food and great stories. We met several locals (Cindy knows everyone) and it was so interesting listening to their stories. |

| The tour was great, Cindy was fun, informative, energetic and really made the tour very enjoyable.
We had lots (I do mean lots) of good food and everyone was so accomodating to our group. All the food we tasted was very good and the servings were very generous - more than we had expected.
The cultural and historical information was presented in a very interesting and engaging way by our guide. We all felt like we were part of the neighborhood for a few hours.
Overall, it was a great experience. |
