It was one horrible rainy, cold day!! Just about impossible to take the walking tour. I personally thought it would have been nicer to go inside all eateries due to the weather. Our guide, Andre, was very good and very nice. |

Although the weather was cold, wet and rainy, Andrea made it enjoyable. It was interesting to learn of the history of the village and how the people influence the kind of food being sold and made there. It was an interesting opportunity to experience different foods, i.e. italian rice balls. Loved the visit to the "speak-easy" it will definately be a spot I take my husband on our next trip to NYC. |

I would highly recommend this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. The sights she pointed out were interesting. The food was an excellent and eclectic mix. The tour also provided a map and list of all eateries seen or recommended for future trips. |

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was genuinely a food tour of Greenwich Village. If you are interested in foods of the area, generous food tastings and a feel for the neighborhood with a bit of history, architecture and miscellaneous trivia thrown in, this is the tour to take. Visiting Chumleys was a highlight, although, I think they should give you a food tasting with a 3oz. cup of ale while sitting there. It would have made the experience even better. Cindy, our guide, was knowledgeable, knew the neighborhood and many of the locals and was very entertaining. It was three hours that flew by. The groups are kept small which makes it easy to maneuver around. I would highly recommend this tour. |

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and wants to learn something about Greenwich Village. Susan was an excellent guide. She delivered the right mixture of gnosh and talk, all with humor and wit. The guide to the Greenwich Village eateries distributed as part of the tour proved to be invaluable. No one had to worry about scribbling down notes while Susan talked -- all the eateries in the tour were listed in the guide. I later used the guide during my stay in New York to return to the Village on my own to further explore some of the eateries.
It was a great tour -- very well done. |

I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Our guide, Susan, was the highlight, as she was able to fill us in on New York life, food, architecture and history and keep it interesting and fun. (The food was great too.) It was the perfect way to get to know at least a small part of New YorkCity. |

The guide was excellent... funny and informative. I learned a lot about the area as well as seeing the sights. I know that we would have never explored this area on our own, but now we will definitely go back. |

I thought all of the information was fun and informative. The tastings covered a wide variety and we enjoyed them all. Our guide was very knowledgable and did a good job of keeping the group together. I would (actually already have) recommended this tour to others visiting NYC. |
