May daughter who is a New Yorker and myself from out of town found this to be a delightful tour. We especially enjoyed the combination of historic details about the Village along with the tastings in the various shops. It is a wonderful way to get a feel for the village and all that it has to offer

Great idea for spending few hours in the City.

Our tour guide Kirt was informative and witty. He made it a fun three hours. We did visit some out of the way places that upon my return I will revisit again . I also saw some other spots that we did not visit but gave us the opportunity of knowing we would like to stop in next time for a meal.. The only different thing I would do next time is take the tour in the spring or fall when the weather is much cooler

Walk Through History With Wonderful Local Cuisine

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the Greenwich Walking Tour. Cindy, our guide, was funny, interesting and lived in the Village so she knew her information. She was so enthusiastic about her home and encouraged us to think about the Village next time we visited for hotels and eateries. My husband and I did the Circle Line Tour afterwards and came back to Chumley's for supper. What an exciting place to eat with all the history that it has been involved in. The only way to really know New York is to visit the neighborhoods. Doing it on your own is ok but you will not get the history. The price is very reasonable and you get to try several different cuisines thqt you may not have in your town or you have not tried. Coming from New Orleans where the food is excellent we were very pleased with the selection of foods we tried. We are so glad a friend of ours recommended this tour. Debbie and Jerry

This was the best walking tour I have taken so far! Our guide, Cindy, was so interesting and knowledgeable. The food tastings we had were delicious and provided a nice variety of samples. All of the shop owners we met were so friendly. I learned a lot about the architecture and the history of Greenwich Village. I highly recommend this tour; it exceeded my expectations.

The Greenwich Village tour exceeded my expectations. I had been to the Village several times, years ago, but this tour gave me a new look at the charming neighbourhood. Our guide Curt was excellent. He was entertaining and he handled the group well. I only wish we hadn't waited until our last day in New York to do the tour because we would have liked to go back to some of the shops and restuarants. We'll definitely do one of the other tours- and maybe this one again too!

My husband and I really enjoyed the Greenwich Village tour. Our guide, Rebecca, shared a lot of interesting facts with us on the area and we really learned a lot and had a lot of fun. The tastings were very good and we really enjoyed all the stops. I would highly recommend the tour for anyone, regardless of age, etc. The restaurant recommendations were wonderful - we went back later that night for dinner at Palma's and it was excellent.

We went on both the Greenwich Village and the Chelsea Markets food tours a couple of days apart, and thoroughly enjoyed both. The guides were informed and entertaining, the food was just right, and the groups were friendly. The tours made a nice break from the usual round of tourist activities. A big bonus was the information on local restaurants -- we revisited two or three in the week after the tours. We would thoroughly recommend either of these tours to anyone with any interest in food!
