What a great tour, gives us a little bit of everything from New York's best and oldest pizza spots to great cannoli's you cant go wrong on this tour. We tried cheeses, cold cuts, exotic foods and great italian staple foods, while walking in one of the most quaint historical NY villages. I will do this tour again every time i go to NY. It gave us a true idea of where NY came from and what keeps it together!

We had a very good, knowledgable tour guide that made you really feel that she wanted us to be there and enjoyed what she was doing. The walking wasn't to much and we got to stop and listen to interesting facts and taste quite a bit of tasty foods from Greenich Village. We were lucky it didn't rain. We were extremely full after the 3 hour tour. We would highly recommend it.

Our guide was well-acquainted with the area and we had a fun food experience as well as a history lesson on Greenwich Village.

Our tour guide was phenomenal, as she previously lived in the village for 10 years and has an impressive knowledge of various restaurants. From my limited experience, the tour seems to attract laid back people who are excited about NYC. It is a great combination of history and amazing food in a beautiful, historic part of the city. The extra coupons in the packet make it easy to return!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The food tastings, interesting stores and the information given about the buildings and history of the Greenwich Village area was one of the highlights of our trip to New York. Would do it all over again!! A walking tour is one of the best ways to see and learn about the lifestyle of the local people. We also enjoyed the company of other people on the tour from all over the world.

| A must do excursion for anyone foodie visiting New York. Having read the reviews we decided to book this tour for our first morning in New York and it was a definite highlight of our trip. Barri, our tour guide, was brilliant. She was extremely knowledgeable and a fun guide. It gave us a chance to see and experience sights and foods that we may not have otherwise have found/tried.
I definitely recommend you do this tour early on in your visit to NY as you will want to go back and explore Greenwich further and have a chance to eat in some of the restaurants in the evenings where possible. Also you receive discounts for a variety of places in the village. As a direct result of the tour we had some fantastic meals in Greenwich and it was our favourite place to eat in the evenings. In some respects being introduced to Rocco's and their mouth watering deserts may not have been such a good thing (for our waistlines at least!) as we kept ending up in there late in the evening having latte and cake...
5 out of 5 for this tour. A top recommendation. |

We were very pleased with our tour and tour guide. We had a small group which made it very nice. Guide full of information about the area, had a great sense of humor made the tour a lot of fun. Food samples and history of shops was great and we were very full when we finished.

We had taken the Chelsea tour with Kurt last year. He does a fantastic job of explaining the history of the area toured and has just the right amount and variety of tastings. We'll be taking the Soho tour next year.

Food was excellent; it was a perfect combination of a variety of types of food. Tour guide was fantastic! He was knowledgeable (not only about the food places we were visiting, but also about the area) and entertaining, and the three hours flew by. We wish he could have been our guide for our whole vacation.
