This is a nice walk for all ages. Good food and architectural appeal.
Loved O and Company (olive oil etc). I went back there for more purchases after tour. |

A great tour led by Sephra who had a unique ability to connect with our diverse group and was knowledgeable about the food and history of the area, Greenwich Village. She made this tour one of the best 3 hours that we spent in NY. I wish that we had more time in NY to enjoy other tours like this one in other parts of the city. We definitely will do this again when we come back to NY city and will recommend this tour to our friends |

We only had 4 days to see and do everything in NYC and the food tour with Kurt in Greenwich Village was the best! Our guide was fantastic, very fun and lively. He told us lots about the history of the neighborhood and we got to sample so much divine food! From cookies to pizza to appys at a wine bar. We had the BEST time ever! Wouldl highly recommend this to everyone visiting NYC. |

This is by far one of the best tours that I have come across. The food was excellent, and the tour guide Kurt was informative, energetic, and extremely funny! Would highly recommend this to anyone as as good day out. Recommendation would be to not eat anything prior to going on! |

My mother and I had a wonderful time on the Taste of Greenwich Village Tour. Our tour guide, Bert, was enthusiastic and a joy to spend 3 hours with. The tour was the perfect amount of time. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop. We cannot wait to try another food tour of the city! |

This was my third Food of New York tour, and I have enjoyed them all. The pace seemed to satisfy everyone, the guide knew her script, and the food was delicious and not too much. |

As a lifetime New Yorker, I learned a lot about my own city, and, at the same time, enjoyed a series of tempting noshes. I know we'll be revisiting some of these eateries on our own. |

Our group of two couples participated in the Greenwich Village food tour on October 9. Our guide was Curt (or Kurt, not sure of spelling) who was absolutely hilarious. He did an amazing job learning everyone's name and used them throughout the tour. He was friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour really fun. The weather was not great, it rained on and off throughout the tour, but he was truly a ray of sunshine (I know that was totally cheesy but true). We got a ton of history about the area through the stops on the tour, and it was enough food throughout. The food was excellent, there was a good mix between sitting and standing. The walks between were fun as we got to chat with the guide and ask questions. We even ran into Whoopi Goldberg on one of our stops, so the celebrity sighting made it fun. We all agreed it was a great overview that we should have done on our first day, not our last day, in NYC. Lesson learned from us -- go on your first day so you can go back to the different places. Curt also recommended a number of other places outside the tour, so that would be fun to spend a night out in the village. I'll definitely take another tour through Foods of New York next time I'm in NYC. It was totally entertaining, great food, lots of history thrown in (that you don't really even realize) and the tour went by so fast. |

food tour was good, not great. 3 hours is too long, could cut it by 1 hour.
loved all the information about the area, and people, especially the end when we looked at homes in the area, and talked about it's beginnings, but could try to make it 1 hour shorter. food was good, a taste of everything. highlight was the cannoli. marie, our tour guide, was great and full of information. |
