| This is an excellent way to entrench yourselves with the locals. The tour owner has done an amazing job of showcasing the "mom and pop" shops of Greenwich Village. My only regret is that I did this tour at the end of our vacation and not the beginning. When we got back to the hotel, I ran for the computer and tried to sign up for the Soho or Chelsea food tours but hadn't done it soon enough to get in the next day! Our tour guide was witty/knowledgeable. She knew many of the locals on the street and they all went out of their way to hug her and say hello. Since I couldn't join another food tour the following day, we took our ten year old on his own Greenwich Village food tour. (I was afraid that three hours of walking and eating would be too boring for a ten year old boy so he didn't join us on the regular tour.) He ate and compared two Chicago pizzas. We walked into Roccos and he literally took a deep breath of the fragrant scent the minute we entered the shop. What really had him excited were the "sandwiches" at Cookies and Milk. Even after two very big slices of pizza, he ordered a "sandwich" and finished the whole thing. We quizzed him just like our tour guide did but, believe me, our tour guide did it better! He does know why the police are called "cops" and what distinguishes a Broadway show from an Off Broadway show. He viewed the Friends building, the Mattel home where Barbie and Ken were born, the 1/2. The best part of the tour could possibly be in the guide book that is given to each participant which shows the tour directors favorite spots and what to expect and order at that particular location. We couldn't get to all of his favorite spots but our tour guide made sure that we knew about them. At the end of our Greenwich Village food tour we took our tired selves over to Deborahs for some sake sangria and reflected on our wonderful tasting experience! I can't wait to come back to NYC and explore Chelsea and Soho!! |

| Our tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable. He knew the neighborhood and cute little stories on the people, the history and the food of the area. People in the neighborhood also new our guide. Folks kept stopping us and saying hi to him. He was extremely funny and easy going. He was open to questions and had great little folk stories to go with every site. The food was also very good! THIS IS A MUST! |

| It was exciting to be in the village and we leaned so much about the neighborhood and the
architecture and about the people who settled in the area.
The food tasting was so delicious at every place we stopped. The samples were large and the explanation about how it was made and the ingredients that went into the preparation made it interesting as well as helping to make choices to purchase some things for our self.
Our guide “Barrie” was fun, upbeat and she gather us all around so we could all hear what she had to tell us.
This food tour was in the top 3 things to do while visiting Manhattan along with “Top of the Rock” and a Broadway play. |

| Heather was our tour guide and I think she did a great job. She was knowledgable and had a very positive and upbeat personality. I was born and raised in New York and I think about 95% of what she told us was all news to me. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history behind the area and sampling all of the fun delicious restaturants in the Village.
I left the tour feeling full from the food, but happy that we were walking. We spent the remainder of the day shopping in the area and trying out some of the suggested spots.
I plan on getting this as a gift to my parents for their anniversary. I definitely want to do a tour of another area and plan on dining in the village more often.
Excellent experience! |

| I have listed family with children....I took my 76 year old mother to new york and we took in the greenwich tour. We both loved it, the tasting of pizza's was great and we would not have experienced 3 different types of pizza on our own. I was so proud of mom that she did so well walking for 3 hours. It was interesting to hear about the history in the village.
We bought olive oil at the O&C and went back to Pasha for a freshly squeezed bloody mary, that was enjoyed by both.
Our tour guide Marie was great and we both found that she covered as much information as possible in the time that we were together.
The only complaint that I had was the last tasting spot, greek food was greasy and not so tasty. It would be great if the tour ended at the pastry shop.
Your tour came highly recommended by friends that have done the tour, I am glad that I took their advice. Thank you Debbie McGinn |

| I went on this tour with 7 of my girlfriends. We are a book club and travel together once a year. We were in NY for just 3 days but this tour was recommended to us by one of our friends so we made it part of our trip. Everyone of us loved it! The tour guide, Marie, was fantastic. Her knowledge of the area and owners of the stores and restaurants was phenomenal. It made the Greenwich Village neighborhood so much more enjoyable for us. The food tastings were great and by the end we could not eat another bite. Everything we tried was fantastic. We so enjoyed seeing where the locals eat and shop. We highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to get a flavor of Greenwich and learn some of the history. |

| My husband & I really enjoyed the tour. Everything was great!!!! Heather did an outstanding job.... she was so enthusiastic and she presented the information very well.... the food was wonderful too. And now we feel confident to visit Greenwich Village and feel like we know the neighborhood and have some restaurants we definitely would go to.
Would you consider doing a tour for Arthur Avenue?

| I have been on this tour 4 times. Everytime I take a new person to New York, I want them to experience this fantastic tour. Every person that has taken the tour with me feels the same way. It is a terrific way to experience the uniqueness of Greenwich Village and all it has to offer. The food was great and we had enough that we didn't need to eat lunch. |
