Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

The absolute highlight of our trip to New York was our culinary tour of Greenwich Village with Curt. Impossible to describe the fun, energy and information of this tour. Not to be missed--- Truly 5+ stars.........

Our guide Kurt was the best, not only was the tour awesome but the wealth of info he gave was great as well. We also did another tour but this one was the best.

My second tiime going on this tour. Took my sister this time and had an even better time than before. The three hour tour was packed with a variety of restuarants, food tastings, specialty shops and local history of the area . The tour guide was great! Would definately do again.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves food! The tour was informative, the food was delicious and I feel like I learned a lot about NY just through that one little tour - AMAzing!

The three hours were filled with foodie facts, factoids, and remarkable gastronomic insights along with 400 years of Greenwich Village history, off Broadway theater, and current real estate prices. Our group was great. Almost everyone had questions, interacted with each other, and appreciated the food. For me, it's the little things that always make a difference. Like the truffle salt with honey, the peach nectar with the prosecco, the shaved asiago on the artichoke, the Monterey Jack cheese in the mac & cheese. Tying it all together was our energetic and enthusiastic tour guide who never missed a beat and Sephrah gets four stars from me.

We took two other tours that were great. This one seemed to be a commercial for many restaurants that we didn't eat at and we were taken to many locations, given a talking to, and then redirected without any purpose other than to looks at buildings (I guess). We left early and had a slice at Joe's Pizza.

Friends told me about these tours and how much they enjoyed them. They were right on! Our guide Burt was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend these tours and look forward to taking another one.

I new the tour would be great but it was even better than expected. My only worry was the portions would to small for my boyfriend and I but I was wrong we were fine until much later. We learned a lot and found some really cool places to explore later that we may have never noticed. I was very pleased with not only the food but also the details and history our very nice guide provided us.
