Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Very knowledgeable guide and great food - a fantastic way to explore Greenwich Village!

We were in New York for a weekend in October and took this tour. What a great experience! Our tour guide -KerriAnne was wonderful. We saw and found out things about the Village which we would never have seen on our own. The food samples were wonderful, I was trying to describe to friends the appetizer we had at La Palma,it was so good. I had wanted to sample New York pizza and cheesecake while we were there and on this tour we got the best. We took a cruise from New York and told everyone we talked to about the tour. If/when we come back we will do it again!

This is a three hour walking tour that could be done in 90 mins! Loved the Greenwich village and the food places around but tour guide seemed to know more about the history of the place than the food. Finally after 1 1/2 and only two tastings our group left and just did it on our own which was much faster.

Our tour guide (Karrie Ann, I believe) was wonderful. So knowledgeable but how she presented everything was what made her stand out. It was so conversational. You didn't feel like you were on a tour. Instead I felt like I was spending an afternoon with a friend who brought me around this wonderfully historic part of town and while walking along, taught me little known facts that were interesting and made the neighborhoods come alive. I feel like I truly know the area and I want to bring others the next time we're in NYC to do this tour as well. I think it was great, not at all intimidating but quite the opposite as I felt I was walking along with a friend (or group of friends).

We had a family outing with 4 brothers and the wives. I was the only one that had been on this tour before and again, it did not disappoint me or any of the others! It was a beautiful day and we had a great tour guide and the humor, history and fodd were all outstanding! Keep up the great work!

Bert was wonderful at explaining the village! so many things you would never know about the neighborhood if you just walked around it. he said many times how much he enjoys his job and it shows. He was so nice and the different food was fun to try.

Our tour guide was just wonderful (CarryAnn?), full of great stories and her enthusiasim was contagious. I knew the tour would have some great food tastings but it was much more then that. Thoroughly enjoyable and the food was excellent. We will be doing all of the tours in the near future!

The food tour of Greenwich Village was really great. Food samples were yummy. Heather, our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the tour. I've been to NY several times, both on business and for vacation, but had never ventured outside the standard Mid-town, Times Square experience. This was a great way to explore another part of New York. I'll definitely try other food tours the next time I'm in town.

Excellent way to experience the true culture of "the village". Highly recommended! Loved the cannolis and fried rice balls!
