Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

The tour guide took great care of us--and was so knowledgeable about the history of the area--I want to go back to the area and have the pizza at Joe's again! While we were in the olive oil store it started to rain--and our tour guide actually had rainwear for all of us! It was really enjoyable and we got to taste some great foods. I would highly recommend it.

This was a fun, informative and interesting tour. Our guide was well informed about the area and the foods we tasted were fun and unique. Our guide even provided rain ponchos when we had a short rain shower! Learned later that there are more famous people with residences and former and TV "homes" in the area than what she mentioned but I guess you can only cover so much in the time allowed. I highly recommend the tour!

We had a wonderful afternoon sampling the delights of Greenwich Village food as well as architecture and history on this tour. Our guide Kerriann was cheerful and informative and the food we sampled was a real treat from start to finish.

Heather was a great guide...knowledgeable, personable. Food choices were varied and delicious. Plenty of food to equal a meal. Great area to learn more about, including the hidden treasures.

The guide provided the right balance between food/fun/information providing a good balance while bringing the area to life! We had such a good time! hope to be back and explore another area of the city!

Our group of 7 all really enjoyed this experience. I felt like we really got to know the neighborhood. Now we look forward to going back to the city to try some of the places we learned about. Amy was a fabulous guide. My only suggestion to others: do this tour early in your trip and then take time to come back another day to enjoy the suggested restaurants.

Growing up in NY and living locally I wish I was more familiar with this area. Great feel to the area, Our guide ( Carrie Ann) was great, very informed. Loved the tastings and the historical narrative. We were givin a guide and coupon book and we can't wait to get back into the area. With all the tastings we ( my wife and I) were too full to sit down for another meal. I highly recommend this tour and am planning with our friends to do another section of Manhattan. Thanks for the great afternoon.

Great guide, great food and great weather combined to create a fun afternoon walking (and eating) our way around Greenwich Village. Highly recommend the activity -- well worth the cost.

This was a first visit to NYC for myself and my husband. The Food & Cultural Tour of Greenwich Village conducted by Heather ticked all the boxes for us. Not only did we hear some fascinating facts about Greenwich Village we tasted some fabulous local food too.Heather was a delightful guide . We were so pleased with this Tour that we returned to Greenwich Village twice afterwards,to shop and to eat at one of the Tour Eateries. This Greenwich Village Tour is great value and lots of fun.
