Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Bert was an amazing guide, and we had a blast. We're local, but we learned so much we didn't know, and now we want to take all of our guests on this tour!

The tour guide was very personable and well versed in the West Village area and the local fare. The tour was fun as well as informative and the various servings of food were just delicious! A wonderful way to spend the afternoon outdoors - eating drinking and learning about such a charming part of the City.

Despite continuous rain/sleet, the tour went ahead under the very capable leadership of Barri(e?). We visited some lovely shops/cafes/restaurants, all with their own unique style and providing quality produce, we sampled several during the tour. I had never tasted 'cannoli' before. We returned to 2 restaurants, 2 cafes and one shop during the days following the tour. Our guide also pointed out many places of architectural and cultural interest during the 3 hour tour. We will definitely book for other tours with this company on our next visit to New York and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and others.

We were a group of adults with teens who enjoyed this tour so much on a sunny mild day in March, eating delicious samples on the streets of Greenwich Village with our guide, and inside at Soy and Sake as well. We all learned so much and then spent time shopping at some of the stores we visited on the tour, and can't wait to try out our purchases together when we get home - don't know if we can create the same moments of food heaven back home, but we'll try. Our guide was helpful, informative, well-prepared, and patient too - would definitely do another one of your tours when we return to NYC again.

Very well done, the last part in the old part of Greenwich was very good, we really liked it! between Hudson Street and 7th avenue. Restaurants were good and the guide tour "Heather" was very professional. We did the Chelsea market tour the day after and we were less Enthusiastic, ones again we liked the outdoor part on Meatpacking district. I think it is worth organising tour in other languages as there is a lot to learn in Greenwich area history.

The best food tour we have been on yet. Our guide was fun and informative. Great food selections. Followed through on my request to do something special for my wife's birthday. We would certainly use this company again.

Our group of women from Baltimore enjoyed the enthusiastic tour guide who introduced us to the "ins and outs" of Greenwich Village eating and food shopping! It was a great day and the establishments we visited were charming and offered us yummy samples of food!! It was worth the time and money.
