| I am a native NY'er and have been living in Greenwich Village for over a year now. My mom wanted to go on the tour so I booked this for all of us as a gift and a great gift it was! It was wonderful to learn about the history of the neighborhood & experience the treasures that I pass almost daily. Our guide, Marie was friendly, knowledgable & enthusiastic. I have already recommended this to several friends & plan on taking the other tours that are offered! Thank you! |

| I learned so much about Greenwich Village as a neighborhood. I enjoyed the food tastings, which were a generous amount. I liked walking to the many stops on the tour. Learning a little bit about the history of the people that made up the village, the houses they lived in and the foods they ate was very interesting. Our tour guide Barry was excellent and very knowledgeable. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tour.
I would highly reccommend this to others who like the city and who enjoy walking and eating. It was a great time . I would look into another one for another time. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The information about the history and development of the neighborhood was very interesting. Our guide gave great tips on local food establishments including bargain buys on the menus. We had several people in our group who lived in the area and were taking the tour to get a better idea of the local restaurants and recommendations. We had eleven different food samplings from different restaurants ranging from a slice of pizza to mushroom risotto to a three cheese sampling to french desserts. The three hours flew by.
My biggest recommendatoin would be if you are visitng NYC for several days, book the tour during your first day or two.... We waited until the day before our trip ended and weren't able to put our new information to use. Had we had more time we certainly would have tried several of the restaurants we visited. |

Couple on a Date |
| This was the second time I went on the tour of Greenwich Village. The first time was with 4 Adult woman with their 4 college-aged daughters; the second was with my husband and another couple. Both times were just great. Tour guides were extremely knowledgeable about the food, area and local history and added their personal experiences to the tour. The restaurants differed little from the first time, but the experience felt new. The food was great. The owners of the restaurants we visited made you feel like they were happy to see you and feed you!
I have been on the SoHo tour as well and although the food was very different, the history and experience were just as good.
Heather was our tour guide and she seemed genuinely happy to be entertaining you!
I would highly recommend this tour at any age. If you are not from New York City, you really get a feel for how it is to live there..
Just a genuinely fun day.... |

| Maria was very knowledgable and besides eating great food, I learned a lot about the west village that i hadn't known before. I'm a New Yorker and I'd definitely recommend it to my friends (I already have)! |

| This was the first thing I did on arriving in New York for the first time and what an introduction to the city. The tour was very relaxed and we were blessed with some lovely weather too.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny - occasionally including locals and passers by in her banter. Lots of history and tall tales of the area were inlcuded.
The highlight of the tour has got to be the food. We started with the best pizza ever and ended with cookies and a cheese class. In between there was some very special food with the occasional glimpse into secluded gardens and gourmet kitchens.
I chose this tour on a whim - it seemed a good antidote to travelling and jet lag and I was realy impressed. I should also add that the "samples" of food meant that I had to skip dinner that evening!
If anyone is thinking of this, just do it! It's real value for money and was one of the true highlights of my trip to New York. |

| Can't wait to go back and do another tour. Not only do you get to sample delicious food, but you get some history and architecture lessons of the area.
Our guide was the best. Droll, bright and very in tune with all of our needs. Sephra.
Thank you. |
