Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Kurt's enthusiasm and knowledge added the extra special touch to make our day very memorable.

the tour guide, Mike, was very nice. he knew everything and everyone in the village. HE taught us very interesting facts about food. we definately reccomment this tour to other couples on dates.

The tour of Greenwich Village was great. You learn a lot about the area and get to know all of the good places to eat. We were provided plenty of food- definitely enough for lunch- and we got to see the apartment building from "friends." The best part was probably going into a "speak easy" that invented the phrase: "86 it" There is no possibly way we would have seen this place if it wasn't for the tour because it is not marked or advertised at all- it just looks like every other building. The information and the food were fabulous! If you are in visiting the city or if you are a local, take this tour to learn a lot and eat delicious food!

I really enjoyed the tour. This is such a unique area of New York it was fun not only to see all the shops and try the food, but also to learn about all the history.

This tour was so much fun! The food was amazing and the tour guide was extremley friendly and knowledgable. Not only does the tour explore the history of the food, but also takes you through residential areas and discusses the architecture and the historical significance of the Village aswell. I would do it again!

Our entire group really enjoyed our tour. We were taken to a very nice mixture of restaurants, stores, and historical sites. We enjoyed the historical information on the buildings and life in Greenwich Village, as well as the variety of food served at the various stops. The tour took us to authentic stops, not tourist-y places, which gave a great feel of the authentic Village. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly, and was willing to answer any questions we had. We really appreciated the pamphlet we were given, containing all the names, locations, and vital information of all the stops we made, as well as some we passed by. We'll be sure to use this when we come back! Our only caveat was that one of our group members did not realize that this was explicitly a *tasting* tour; perhaps this could be better advertised on the website. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and interesting. We would strongly consider taking another of their tours.

We enjoyed our enthusiastic tour guide, as well as all the food we tasted. There were plenty of tasting stops and our tour guide even provided us with details about the history of some of the restaurants and local homes. We visited original Row houses as well as the doorstep of an old Italian Merchant Mansion.
