Foods of New York offers Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tours that highlight delicious and unique food establishments and cultural venues. In addition to sampling delicious foods on the tours, participants will learn about the history, culture, architecture, and entertainment offerings of the neighborhood.Foods of New York has recently added a new “Food Tasting Event,” which provides an in-depth exploration of the culinary and cultural traditions of one unique cuisine. You enjoy a multiple course sit down meal in one of New York’s most exciting restaurants, as your host teaches you about history and traditions behind these diverse flavors.
The company was established in 1999, but the adventure truly began 20 years ago when we started exploring the diverse ethnic foods and offbeat musical venues within Greenwich Village and SoHo. We found the perfect slice of thin crust NY-style pizza, Turkish donor kebab, the best fresh-filled cannoli, and a tiny subterranean jazz club.
Let us take you on a three-hour journey that introduces you to the best of the best, opening up a whole new world just waiting to be explored.
