Taste mouthwatering eats from undiscovered spots in the cozy corners of Nolita, where old-world charm meets a youthful, downtown vibe.

We have now been on four NYC food tours and this was the best! We loved Anne our guide, she was so enthusiastic and had great stories about individual people in the neighborhood, architectural history and the food selections were varied and delicious! |

We participated in the Nolita food tour on Friday May 24th. The weather wasn't great but the tour was amazing. Annie was so informative and entertaining and totally brought Nolita to life. She definitely loves her job and sharing her knowledge of the area. The stops on the tour where great, as was the food and we will definitely be back to a few of the restauants showcased. We have now done all but the Chinatown tour and each one has been well worth the money. Hope you come up with some new tours soon!!! Anyone wondering if this tour is worth it, I would say a resounding yes, you will not be disappointed. |

This tour was so great from beginning to end! Annie, our tour guide, was enthusiastic, friendly and so knowledgeable about the history of the area. The weather was dreary and, at times, raining and cold, but we hardly noticed. The food stops were each amazing in their own way! Loved the pizza at Emporia, the cupcakes from Little Cupcake Shop, the French Tartinery, the mexican corn! I could go on, but why spoil the surprises! You will love this tour! |

This is my third tour with Foods of NY, and it was my least favorite. The first two tastings were fantastic - the amazing Brooklyn Blackout Cupcake, the Roman-style prosciutto/argula/tomato pizza - huge slice, yum. Very good. The tartine - tiny portion, but good. Next, a cup of grilled corn with chipotle aioli. Ok, but after a few bites, it was just corn. A ho-hum tasting of fresh ricotta on whole grain bread, with nary an explanation of why we were at that particular restaurant, and why that ricotta was special. Then a stop that boggled my mind - we went into a salon started by a friend the guide knows. Haircuts 90-200$, seriously, why would we be interested in that? What did that have to do with food or culture? We soon found out - the guide showed us a beauty book written by the friend that has a photo of the guide! I didn't come to NYC to see a picture of the tour guide in a beauty book! I came to learn about food & history in a NY neighborhood. I was so turned off that I left the tour before the final tasting. It was cold, rainy, and I just didn't care anymore. |

Anny was very knowledgeable about the Nolita/Noho neighborhoods - the history, the people, the food/culture. She was also very fun and sweet/considerate - and sang us a song at the end of the tour! |

My husband and I really enjoyed our Nolita Food Tour. The 3 hours of the tour was the perfect length of time.
Annie -Our Tour Leader made the Tour. She was professional and knew all the inside information of the area.
We stopped at each place the right amount of time. The food was great. We are staying in the area and I
Would have walked past these Restaurants without entering. We went back to one of the Restaurants the
Same night. Annie certainly. Made everybody in the group special. Thank you. |

We had the most fantastic time. Our guide, Annie, was so lovely and her passion for the city shone through. We visited lots of great restaurant, saw really cool street art and learnt so much about the area. It was the highlight of our 4 days in New York . A big thank you to Annie for being so welcoming and fun. |
