Taste mouthwatering eats from undiscovered spots in the cozy corners of Nolita, where old-world charm meets a youthful, downtown vibe.

Wonderful historical insights into the neighborhoo

Our tour guide was marvelous and has a lovely sweet way of relating to the tour group. Her memory of all our names was astounding. I loved the special comments about the various city blocks, I.e. the buildings, the church and even a butcher shop. Of course, the food was amazing! I intend to revisit some of the restaurants we visited on the tour.

Great food, local history, & fun

My tour was led by Anny, with Bert in training doing some of the work. They're both fun, enthusiastic, friendly & very good at remembering names. The food was uniformly excellent, from/in interesting funky restaurants that I would definitely return to. A taste of wine at Tartinery was also very welcome (I'd happily pay more for a similar tour with more drinks included). Anny handled the unexpected temporary closure of one place well: she took a vote on which of two nearby alternatives we preferred, our choice of salted caramel gelato (Alimentari & Vineria) was yum, and it was otherwise as well organised as all the planned stops. Along the way we were given interesting local information about particular shops, businesses, the restaurants themselves, and the neighbourhood in general; this was well presented & never too much. The rain held off, joining instructions were clear, and Anny's song a surprising farewell treat ;-)

Anny (and Bert) were fantastic tour guides providing us with great information on the history and culture of Nolita and NoHo. Along the three hour tour there were ample opportunities to sit down and enjoy the great foods of the area. It was an interesting and delicious way to spend an afternoon in NYC. This was our third Foods of NY Tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone spending time in the area.

Annie was a great tour guide. She made the tour memorable. The background stories were so full of details without too much overkill. We will recommend this to everyone we know heading to NYC. We have already recommended to a few locals!

This was our 4th F&C tour. This one had the most spectacular weather. Our tour guide, Annie was very informative and one could tell by her enthusiasm that she enjoys her job. She does it well. The food choices were varied and delicious. Annie took the time to speak to each person individually and remembered all our names. Made us feel special.

Anny was such a great tour guide ...not only did we eat a lot of food, she provided history of the neighborhoods, a couple in which she lives or has lived. My mother is in her late 70's and she thoroughly enjoyed the tour also. We cannot recommend enough's fun!

Our group of 4 lady friends just loved our Nolita/Noho food tour, which was made even better by our knowledgeable & charming hostess, Annie. The food we sampled was very good & the interesting back stories of the neighborhood culture & history was really brought to life by Annie's descriptions.
