Taste mouthwatering eats from undiscovered spots in the cozy corners of Nolita, where old-world charm meets a youthful, downtown vibe.

Foods of NY does it again! Anny was amazing...

I went on this tour with my mom. Both of us are Foods of NY veterans, and have been trying to plan taking this tour together for ages. We finally made it, and the anticipation was well worth it! When I go on a Foods of NY tour, I always have very high expectations, so I know that there is the risk of a letdown. Noooo letdown here. =) Anny was an incredible tour guide, as good as any I have ever had. She is gracious, friendly, entertaining, intresting, warm, caring, super-informative...just awesome. The food was very delicious, but I have to say, I may have enjoyed the venues visited (history, info, recommendations, interiors, visits from the owners/staff) and the general history of the neighborhood even more. One cool thing about going on a Foods of NY tour as a local is that the tour always reminds me how diverse and fascinating the city is, and why I love it so much! I won't go into detail about the stops because I don't want to ruin any surprises for people who will be going. All I can say is, if you're on the fence about doing this tour...DO IT! You won't regret it! Kudos to Anny and Foods of NY for a job incredibly well done.

Tried various small mom and pop type restaurants that are now run by the younger generation. Our tour guide Annie was outstanding! Shared a wealth of information about the history of the neighborhood. Ended our tour with warm hugs and a beautiful song before sending us on our way. This is my second tour and will look forward to trying another one in the future.

Despite the snowy and cold weather, Anny made the tour a delight. She was informative and helped tour members get acquainted with the neighborhood through authentic stories and food. Great tastings were fun in a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. A must do!

This tour deserves a 10. This is my 2nd tour with this company. Anny, our guide, was awesome. She is a natural at being a guide. Great energy, so much information about the area we visited, and she made it so fun and interesting. The places we ate at were very good, and some places I would not have entered on my own! But I am SO glad I did, and would go back again. A great new mix of foods and places that were a great sampling of what NOHO/Nolita has to offer. Take this tour - Really!

My husband and I truly enjoyed the this tour. Our tour guide Annie was excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, energetic. A lot of interesting info we didn't know about NOLITA and NOHO. And, of course, food was delicious!

About 3 years ago, my friend and I enjoyed the GV tour with hilarious red head gentleman, Kurt. We had a blast, loved the food and the cool information! So, naturally, I remembered you guys, and went straight to your company! This time, Annie, so beautifully floated us around Little Italy. It was like we were Annie's favorite friends from her home town. She had done her homework on the area and supplied us with insider tidbits on history of local residents, artists, chefs, etc. The food and restaurants that she took us to were very sweet and we had more than enough food! (We ended up returning to Emporio a couple nights later- and had a memorable time! Great pic! I LOVED Annie!, YOU GUYS, YOUR TOURS.. AND WILL DEFINATELY WORK MY WAY THROUGH THE TOUR LIST UNTIL IVE TAKEN ALL OF THEM! (Mwa Annie- You are a shining light!) All food was lovely and we returned to 3 of the restaurants we visited on the tour later in our holiday. Anny the guide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. Would definitely do another food tour if we do return o NYC!

This food tour was great. I have been on many tours and I think this one is the best so far. Annie was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. She was friendly and made the afternoon fun for all of us. The food samples were huge and easily acted as lunch for the day. All the little spots she pointed out were interesting and I never would have found them otherwise. What a delightful treat of a day in NYC!

These tours are always the best of New York tours

Our group has done all of the tours except Chinatown. And we plan on that one next visit. The guide, Annie, was a extraordinary guide and full of enthusiasm and knowledge. She always gave full attention to us and made sure we were well taken care of at all of our stops. The food, as usual, was sumptuous, delicious and filling. No need for breakfast or lunch that day. The stop we made for pizza was tops on everyone's list. We were shown how to make it from the dough ball until it was served to us. This was a culinary delight so much so, that we went back for dinner and experienced their home made pasta. My Italian friend said it was the best he had ever had. Every time we take a tour we find the best restaurants and specialty stops to enjoy later. Theseare the best tours available to visitors of Manhattan. We have recommended them to at least 50 people. Same comments come back from them as I have given here.
