Annie is the best guide!

Myself, my best friend, my daughter and her fiancée comprised our group for this tour.my daughter and fiancée live in Hoboken, so are locals. I wouldn't suggest it for young families. We totally enjoyed our food tour of Nolita and Noho with Annie. She was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the area. She provided us with so much fascinating historical detail that formed Nolita into the community that it is today. As our family is of Italian heritage, we totally understood many things she said with reference to the beliefs and traditions of the people. We totally enjoyed all of the food and can't wait to go back and try some of the restaurants! Thanks once again Annie for a totally enjoyable time. We hope to be back to visit soon.

NYC must do activity!

Foods of New York tours deliver once again. This is on our list to book along with Broadway. My daughter and I really enjoyed Anny and her expert, enthusiastic, entertaining guidance through Nolita/NoHo. So glad the description is food and culture because the education as you walk through these different areas of NYC makes the whole trip better. We've been on the Greenwhich and Chelsea/Meatpacking district tours, too, all three different and equally enjoyable. I recommend any of them and can't wait to visit again soon and book another tour!

Annie was amazing and her passion for the village was palpable . I learnt so much and had so much fun. The food was impressive and Annie's considerable knowledge was communicated at the perfect pitch... She even sang to us at the end!

Nolita Tour does not disappoint

Our second Food of NY Tour; loved it. Went Sunday morning; streets were quiet so the group could congregate with guide without having to be too cognizant of local traffic. Stops were varied in atmosphere and portions were ample and tasty. Tour guide was Annie and she was a sheer delight. It's a great way to get to know the different neighborhoods. We are native NYers and its fun to find out little tidbits of each neighborhood. Will definitely continue tasting our way through the remaining neighborhoods..

Great way to spend a morning

This was our second food tour with Food Tours of New York. They are well planned and flow seamlessly. The food is very good and the portions are generous. You don't leave hungry. It's a great way to sample different cuisines, but mostly it's a way to sample different atmospheres and to get a flavor for the evolution of a neighborhood - from a food and broader historical perspective. Tour guide (Burt) was excellent and makes you feel like a VIP in each place you go into. You never feel rushed. It's a fun way to spend time with friends or family. Group size of 16 is just right to either spend time chatting with others, or not. The Nolita tour specifically is a good mix of seated tastings, versus sidewalk ones, with a nice walk in the middle with fun non-food stops.

Annie was terrific! She made Nolita come alive. Discovered many hidden gems in the neighborhood that our parents grew up in. Her stories will stick with me forever.
