The meal was delicious, above and beyond the norm. We all had a great time enjoying both the company of friends and meeting new. The way that the flavors of the food and drink mixed and complemented each other really says to me that someone planned meticiously so that the experience would be extremely satisfying. It worked!

First off, the food was fantastic. The menu was chosen well, and covered a broad rage of textures and tastes. Even the more seemingly mundane dishes (like chicken or tofu) were elevated by some masterful cooking. I've never been partial to raw squid, and this was the first time I encountered raw squid I would happily reorder, now that I know how it can and should taste like in the hands of experts. You do get a fair amount of food to, so come hungry... Our host Raheem was delightful (and knowledgeable); and his enthusiasm and passion for food certainly added to the experience. It may not seem like the essential NY experience... but I did not regret choosing to spare some of my precious 'touristy' time for this. I would probably have gone back for more had I the time.

The Sushi Tour was fantastic! From the Tapas through to the dessert, every course was amazing and the Japanese beer and sake perfectly complimented the food. Raheem's knowledge of the food, it's preparation and Japanese culture really enhanced the experience and we were pleasantly surprised at how plentiful the servings were. We are so looking forward to the Chinatown Tour!

I am so happy that my girlfriend suggested this outing! We had a fabulous time! The restaurant was exceptional and our host for the event was excellent! He was not only friendly and pleasant but in addition to that he was so knowledgeable of the Japanese culture and food! He really made the evening a fantastic experience! I would highly recommend this to all of my friends and family. I haven't stopped raving about it since!

The tour guide Mike was AWESOME! He was so knowledgeable, having lived in the Village for 22 years, and was a wealth of information about everything from the apartment buildings in the neighborhood to the cafe's to nightlife. I've been living in Manhattan for 4 years and I learned so much from Mike on this tour. Oh yeah, and the food was great too! I especially liked the grandma pizza. And the cookie from Milk and Cookies. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history and culture of the village and likes to eat!

I went on the tour with my mom and my sister. We loved everything about the tour. We honestly had no complaints. we've been telling everyone about it. And the best part was our tour guide Cindy. She was an absolute delight. We laughed from the minute we arrived to the last minute of the tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Greenwich Village Food tour. The food was fantastic as expected. The real highlight though was our guide. Besides the shop and restaurant information she filled us in on the area's history, architecture, and real estate market and made it all fun. I have already recommended this tour to my friends!

The group consisted of mostly under 35 couples, but there was a single woman from new jersey, myself and my mom as well. I got it for my mom as a mothers day gift, figured it would be unique. She enjoyed it, as did I. I will definitely participate in another tour again. Someo f the food was spicy, so beware. I am not one for spice, but I do enjoy a little exotic food once in while so I thought it was tolerable, but my mom did not enjoy the spice much. The tour guide Susan was fantastic. You could see her passion about the neighborhood. She was very friendly and helpful. It will make you tired! The walking was not very far but for some reason I was exhausted afterwards. My mother was too. I work in manhattan (and im only 23) so im used to alot of walking, in total i walk approx a mile per day, and my mother walks for 30 minuts almost every night, but this tour definitely made us go home and rest. It was well worth it though!! Just think through any plans you make for afterwards, and plan for the tour to go over atleast an hour or so. ine was supposed to end at 330, it ended at 415.

The tour was fine, it lasted a little too long perhaps because of the long trip round Washingon Square. The food was fine but could be more interesting. The first dish at the Indian restaurant was great but it was downhill from there (we left before the last too restaurants as we had another appointment. It was nearly four PM at the time). I would recommend this tour to friend.

Besides tasting great food, you get a feel of what Greenwich Village is really like. Wonderful shops and restaurants. The food is amazing! I would recommend this tour to everyone I know. My tour guide, Cindy, was very nice and full of energy; she was great! I will definitely go on another tour that Zerve offers.

The tour was the highlight of our trip. We loved getting to know Greenwich Village and tasting all the wonderful foods. Our tour guide, Cindy, was funny and knowledgable. Our only regret was doing the tour late in our visit to ny because we really wanted to come back and try a lot of the restaurants for dinner!

This is a great way to spend an afternoon away from the tourist traps of Manhattan and find out about the real NY from a New Yorker's point of view. Our guide Rahim was superb and whilst we weren't familiar with all the cultural references being from the UK we did know where he was coming from most of the time. The food was excellent going into places we probably wouldn't normally do just by the look of the outside. We went back to Montes for our final dinner (thanks for the recommendation) and also to some of the great places we went to on the original tour a few years ago - glad to see they are still going strong - John's Pizza and Rocco's particularly.
