I would highly recommend this tour. We had a great time with Amy. You would never find some of the places on your own as they are tucked away, off the beaten path. We were also stuffed at the end of the tour. |

Lots of good food, infomative and educational as well as lots of plain old enjoyment. I totally recommend this tour to anyone. Our guide, Amy, was lovely and sweet and quite knowledgeable about anything we asked her. |

A friend recommended this tour and I'm so glad she did! The guide was great, the food was fabulous, and the neighborhood is too charming! Make sure you come ready to eat. You won't go home hungry, that's for sure. It's a side of New York that makes you forget about all the hustle & bustle. I'd definitely return to the Village. So many restaurants, so little time! A tour not to be missed! |

This is the best tour I have ever been on. The food was fantastic. The information on the historial Greenwich was phenomenal. I intend to the do the Chelsea Food Tour next time and have decided to make my next stay in Greenwich Village that is how much I enjoyed the whole area. I cannot wait to try some of the restaurants that were pointed out to me. GREAT. You will not be disappointed if you go. |

Group leader , Curt, was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic which made the tour even better. We would recommend the tour to most people who are at least mildly active. The food was well prepared and a good variety was offered. We returned the following evening to have dinner at one of the restaurants on the tour. The Palma restaurant was as good as we anticipated. We also enjoyed becoming acquainted with another part of New York. I think locals as well as tourists would enjoy it. Our only regret was we did not have enough time to take the Chelsea meat market tour. |

We explored familiar streets - and the guide ( Curt) opened up the world hidden in plain sight! Stopping in all the restaurants on Cornelia Street - a street we'd just zip past - to the hidden former speakeasy we discovered a new city - while having a very enjoyable time. The three of us - all "veterans" of NY (living in Connecticut) were delighted with the day - and with Curt's insightful and funny commentary.
The pace was perfect - leisurely but not lingering too long at any one spot.
Go - you'll enjoy!

We chose to celebrate our daughter's sweet 16 and surprised her and took several of her friends and some older friends of the family in the tour and everyone had a great time. The tour guide was caring, informative and funny. The food was spectacular and we went back afterward and purchaced the food to bring home. We all would recommend this tour to anyone and freel it is a great way to celebrate New York and a special day. |

We were very pleased with the tour. Our guide was very informative and fun, there was plenty of good food to eat, and we learned a lot of interesting things that we never would have known about Greenwich Village.. . even though many of us had been there numerous times before. |

My husband and I have already done 4 previous walking tours with other companies, including one food tasting tour, but this was our first time using Food Tours. We were pleasantly surprised at the ample size of the servings provided to our group, the variety and the excellent quality of everything we tasted. We were given a handout which lists a number of businesses in the area with contact information and what they offer, this will be an invaluable tool as we continue to navigate The Village on our own when we return to visit fabulous New York City again. And last, but not least, I must mention Mike, our guide.......gracious, funny, full of history and unique tidbits of history about The Village.....he made our tour a delight. He's very well known and liked by business owners and residents alike, numerous persons stopped by to say hello to him and to point out to the group what a knowledgeable and good person he is. We will certainly recommend this tour to any of our friends or relatives who travel to NYC with a special emphasis on asking for Mike as the guide. Vivian from Miami. |

This was the second time I went on this same Greenwich village tour where I took out of town guests. It is one of those wonderful secrets you find in a large city! The tour guide, the history, the food, the scenery were all exceptional. We all had so much fun. It is really nice to get an education while on vacation and have a great time too! |

The tour provided a great overview of the architecture and history of Greenwich Village in addition to a yummy sampling and introduction to the culinary delights to be found in the area.
A very good printed packet was distributed to each participant as a reference to the restaurants and stores in addition to the excellent verbal information that our charming, well informed tour guide provided.
After the tour, my husband and I commented that we would never have seen and experienced as much on our own and the experience introduced us to an area that we look forward to enjoying on future trips to New York. |
