The tour is fun and informative. I really enjoyed it. The tour guide is friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the tour. Some suggestions: you should forewarn interested parties that in the winter time to dress appropriately; for those who do not weather the cold well, they should take the Greenwich tour which is 2/3 indoors. You might also mention to participants to turn off cell phones! |

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite the freezing weather. Our guide, Mike, was knowledgeable and charming. The food was tasty and it was great to learn more about the area, as well as getting a perfect restaurant recommendation for dinner! A good way to glean some insider information for non-New Yorkers. |

Kurt was our tour guide on the 12/3 tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. I loved learning all about Chelsea Market; the merchants there clearly have great passion for what they do. I also enjoyed touring the Meatpacking district. I would never have been able to navigate that myself, and certainly would not have enjoyed it so much. Great job! I'll definitely do another one of your tours next time I'm in NYC.

Curt, our guide, was simply wonderful. He worked in some laughs along with the information. He was attentive to our needs and paid attention to each one of us. The tour moved well and there were no boring or dead parts. Each food vendor greeted us warmly and enthusiastically. This tour provided an exceptional way to taste many of the foods offered at the Chelsea Market. We returned after the tour for more shopping and tasting...I recommend sticking your head into Hogs and Heiffers, you just gotta do it. Thanks! |

Even on a cold, wintery day, this was a very enjoyable behind the scenes look. Discovering great food, hidden restaurants and fascinating history made us feel like locals. We decided when we next return to NYC and stay in the Village on our next trip. We have visited all the usual tourists sites and so this tour expanded our horizons. When I return I know I plan to take the food tour of Chelsea! |

My mother, my aunt and myself took the Greenwich Village Tour and Rebecca was our tour guide. It was our first trip ever to NYC and this was one of the best highlights of the trip. The food was fabulous and filling. The merchants of each shop were very gracious and entertaining as we visited their establishments. I would recommend this tour to anyone that's visting NYC. Before purchasing tickets I read very postiive on-line reviews that helped influence my decision therefore; I am writing this review and hopeful it will assist you in making your decision. My favorite shops were: Rocco's, Murray's Cheese Shop & Milk and Cookies. My best peice of advice is to bundle up an dress warmly b/c it was very cold the morning of the tour!!! |

My grown daughters and I have been to N.Y. many times and for this trip concluded to do more exploring - to learn about the history and culture of different Manhattan areas. This tour suited our intentions perfectly! For the first time we feel that we have a good grasp of the history/culture of Chelsea. Food tasting added a delicious & informative aspect to the already fascinating tour. Very reasonably priced and well worth the time... wished for more when it concluded. We'll do the Greenwich tour next time. |

My sister and I took the tour together on our visit from California. It was one of the highlights of our first trip to New York. We loved the Chelsea Market and Kurt's knowledge and stories were amazing. He showed us so many things during the three hour tour including a visit to a friend's bed and breakfast for dessert. The Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District are fascinating and the tour was worth every penny. The food stops and tastes were wonderful. |

We greatly enjoyed the food and history as Cindy led us through Greenwich Village. We would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to sample great food and restaurants and learn more about the Village. We had to return to some of the recommendations for gifts and more samplings of food immediately after the tour! |

Do this on your first day in hopes that you may return to enjoy some of the wonderful restaraunts. If you must eat before do it early, don't eat right before the tour as I did or you will be way too full. Great places, wonderful knowledgeable guide. I would love to see this tour in other areas of the city like China town or Little Italy. |

This was my first trip to New York. The food tour was recommended by a client. I was so pleased with the tour guide. I expected a walking tour of a few restaurants. What I got was so much more. Our guide had a sense of humor, was very knowledgable about the history of New York and Greenwich. The establishments we visited (and ate at..yum) were rooted in the history of the town. The food we tasted was so delicious, fresh, and was a wonderful blend of culture that reflected my image of New York. I will definitely be back to New York and especially to take my husband on the tour. |
