My friend from Ohio and I (from NYC) had a blast on the Greenwich Village Tasting Tour. Not only was ALL of the food delicious, but we also learned a ton about the history of old time new york city. The tour was extremely well organized and orchestrated and our guide Kurt had a great personality and a sense of humor that was right up our alley. I highly recommend this tour to visitors from out of town as well as native NY'ers. Thanks !

I had so much fun on this walking tour through Greenwich Village. It gave me the opportunity to see how New Yorkers live and eat...plus, we saw some of the sites of NYC. Our guide, Ed, was excellent. He was so much fun and so informative. The foods we sampled along the way were delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone, whether they be from out of town, or those locals that have never walked through the Village.

I live here but my sister was visiting me .. and this was her very first trip to US and New York. This tour put her on the top -- not only did we have fun tasting different things, but also the history of the Village - the many interesting people who have frequented these stores, restaurants -- the little gems along the way... :) She of course loved it. I was hoping to get a fun time but I guess even a ntive has much to learn... I would recommend this for one and all. Diana - you are a considerate, patient guide.

I had Sam as my guide and he was warm, funny, friendly, and smart - he even learned every participant's name! The tour was on a cold, rainy day-a perfect activity because 99% of the tour was inside (he would have done more outside but we were too cold and wet). i really enjoyed the food tour. the only suggestion i would liek to pose is to not do two pizza restaurants on the tour. i understand these places probably are the simplest to do a sampling at but i think it would have been nicer to have a sample at a different type of restaurant. i am really excited to go back and try all the restaurants that were featured on the tour.

tour included enough sampling to provide a decent meal and was very tasty. our guide knew enough interesting info about each shop and the historic village to keep us well entertained. i would recommend this to anyone as long as you are able to do the walking.

Loved the tour. Bought at the stores after the tour with the discount they provided tour members so our NY hosts could also enjoy the wonderful food. Now we are continuing to order via the internet with our discount so we can share the great food with our California neighbors. Who doesn't like to eat? We are already planning to take some of the other tours on future trips to NY. Keep up the good work.

Our tour guide was wonderful. She was energetic, helpful, informative and entertaining. The cultural aspect of the tour was as fun and interesting as the food aspect. I was surprised that I liked the Thai chicken noodle dumplings and the rice ball. Neither one are items I ever would have eaten on my own. If I return to New York, I would strongly consider signing up for either the same tour if I was with my husband or a different food tour if I returned with my daughter.

The Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour was a great time. I live in NYC and took family to this. I'd recommend it to out-of-towners and New Yorkers alike. Our guide, Cyndi, was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgable.

The tour was well paced lead by an impressive tour guide with an incredible nack for names. The only suggestion I would make is that the tour ended back at the market. If we had ended back at the market, I believe we would have made some purchases. Great day overall.

This tour was without a doubt the highlight of my 5 night stay in new york, and it had a lot to contend with, including Phantom of the Opera, a Gospel tour of Harlem, and a sunny day in Central Park. Our tour guide Mike was a real Grenwich character with a great sense of humour, an obvious love for food, a wonderful knowledge of the place and it's history, and a wonderful singing voice to top it all off. This tour was unique to me in that i never really felt like i was on a tour with all that awkwardness of being in a group of people's company who you don't know and will only be with for a very short period of time. To the contrary it felt like a stroll around Grenwich food shopping with some friends. As for the food well i could go on and on and on and......well it was to die for. The pizza was fantastic, the olive oil amazing, i can hardly contain myself when i think about the chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven so that the outside was crisp and the inside soft with chocolate chips melting perfectly as you break it apart...ooohhhhhhhh yeah, and the finale in the cheese shop where i got to try a canole for the first time...let's just say that canole was worth the price alone, although you could of course get it a lot cheaper. But then you'd miss out on all the other things that made this tour something i will never forget. We also went back to one of the restraunts, Palma, which was on the tour and the food was sooooo good and very reasonably priced. I'm only sorry we didn't do this tour on our first day in new york so i could have sampled so much more of the places we saw on the tour. My final word, if you like really good food, in a wonderful neighbourhood, with an entertaining friendly guide...you most certainly won't be dissapointed. Bon Appetit.
