A "must do" tour for foodies!

| Curt was our guide and he lead us through Greenwich Village with such enthusiasm that we just had to go back for a meal. Le Gigot was THE best meal we had in NYC all week. Curt was superb and really knew what he was talking about. He delivered the information with humour and incredible knowledge and the three hours just flew by! Many, many thanks for a great day out! | ||||||

| My husband and I really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with an enthusiastic, well-informed tour guide. The food was great, the information and history of the area was fascinating, and we had a great time! | ||||||

| Our guide, Curt, was very personable, full of energy, and very knowledgeable of the West Village. He kept the tour moving, gave a lot of historic facts along the way and the food samples were delicious! | ||||||

| I'm a local NY-er and attended this tour with two cousins from out-of-town and we all loved it! I've always been intimidated by the West Village because I can never find my way around there. But after the tour, I will definitely go back! The tour provided a good balance of history, interesting facts, and of course good local food. I particularly enjoyed learning some of the secrets of the area that I would NEVER have known otherwise, even as a local! I would definitely recommend this tour for locals and those who have been to NY before but want to see something different. | ||||||

| What a wonderful experience ! I sampled TV's Food Network's "best N.Y.C. pizza" and best NYC cupcake1" and so much more......from thai dumpling soup sampling to imported olive oil on artisian breads locally made....absolutely delicious! but what really surprised and delighted me was the historic information presented on greenwich village.'s architecture, culture and charm. Our tour guide was exccellent and took us off the beaten track. By the tour's end, I felt like a village native. Next time we're gong to book another 2 tours ! | I live in New York and frequently have visitors from out of town. I get really bored taking people to the same old touristy spots. The food tour was a great way to spend the day. My friends really loved it and we all enjoyed learning about some of the special local restaurants. The historical aspect of the tour was great too. I totally recommend the Greenwich Village tour... sign up for Curt's group. He's hilarious and has an uncanny ability to remember everyone's name. | ||||||

| Our tour guide (Curt from Vancouver) was excellent, made an effort to include everyone in the group including my 16 year old daughter. We LOVED all the tastings, the food servings were delicious and larger than we expected. We left feeling like we knew the area and can't wait to get back there again and try some of the restaurants that we sampled on the tour. Very good info on history, architecture, stores, etc...would recommend that if you do the tour you don't plan anything for the rest of the day so you can enjoy the neighborhood and maybe go back to your favorite restaurant for dinner. Nice to walk to SoHo after the tour and see a little of that neighborhood as well. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone unfamiliar with the area, and I would consider taking this exact same tour again as well as any of the other food tours offered. | ||||||

| We visit NYC often and have spent a great deal of time in the Village. We had no idea how much we were missing! There are so many "finds" that we've just walked past, not realizing what was beyond the doors or just a half block off from where we've been. We recommend this tour and are planning on taking one of your other tours on our next visit. | ||||||

| We live on Long Island so we are not easily impressed with NY as we visit often. Our group include our 17 year old son that really wanted to stay home and game! He had a great time and made us stop for cheese and bread to take home. My husband and I now know exactly where to eat next time we visit. I was educated on olive oil and brought some home. Our tour guide was engaging and made sure to involve our son. I am still dreaming about those cookies !! | ||||||

| We not only got to taste fantastic food and find out about restaurants we might not otherwise have found, but we also learned the stories behind many of the establishments in Greenwich Village. A very worthwhile 3 hours! | ||||||
