Foods of New York Tours

This food tour had an energetic guide that had knowledge about the neighborhood, businesses and historical information about the neighborhood. Every business that food was served were considerate and generous. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and historical information!

It was wonderful and have been on many in NY and never had such a fun experience . Our guide was wonderful and made the day so enjoyable. I will go again when he has the group. Would give a 4star ++++ rating.

Barri knew the history of the area and had good presentation. She excercised good people skills and guided our group through the walking tour with skill and ease. Highly recommend this tour.

The group leader was funny, vibrant and knew her history. The food was terrific. If the weather could have been slightly warmer it would have been a 100% recommended tour. Only God made it slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise. I would highly recommend this tour.

Loved the tour guide She had a strange first name - Suffrage???? Whatever her personality really made the tour a fun experience. Took the Chelsea Warehouse tour a few years ago and enjoyed the food tasting better on that one. Felt it was more varied than this one. Loved the mac and cheese and seeing the architecture. It was a fun experience.

Inspite of a rainy day, we had a great time. Our guide was very knowlegeable and added much enjoyment to our experience

What a great tour and a great neighborhood. Annie was a fabulous tourguide and she was able to personalize the tour so that we felt as though we got to know the people. i couldn't believe all the wonderful new restaurants and stores. I can't wait to go back on my own and try more foods and go into some more of the charming shops.

I had the pleasure of taking the Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District tour on April 21st. This was my 3rd food tour. I have to say each one has been such an enjoyable, satisfying experience. Our guide, Darrel, was so knowledgeable about the area and gave us SO much interesting information about EVERYTHING as we went along. I also just LOVE his humor!! The tastings were out of this world. I know it must take a lot of planning and organizing to arrange one of these tours. Everything always seems to go so smoothly. My compliments to everyone involved! It happened to be the birthday of one of the members of our tour that day. So Darrel arranged to have a small dessert (tiramisu) brought out for him with a sparkler. I have to say I think this has been my best food tour so far and look forward to taking other tours in the future.

Our guide, Annie, was fabulous - fun, knowledgeable, personable, and made us all feel comfortable. We loved learning the history as much as enjoying the restaurants and food. The servings were delicious and generous. The restaurant proprietors were welcoming to our group. We had a beautiful day which only made the experience better. We all loved it and look forward to another tour!

THE TOUR WAS GREAT. SUSAN WAS VERY KNOWLEGABLE AND FULL OF FUN FACTS. THE FOOD WAS UNBELIEVABLE AND WAS GOOD FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TRY NEW THINGS AND BE DIRECTED WHAT TO TRY FOR FIRST TIME FOODIES

I bought this tour as a gift for my husband who loves to try different foods. We enjoyed everything about the tour. Our guide, Susan, was informative and fun to be with. The stops we made provided us with delicious food in just the right amount, so that at the end of the tour we were comfortably full; and the variety of types of food was a plus, too. We loved walking around the interesting neighborhoods of Central Greenwich and SoHo and learning the history and other information about the area. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, so it was a perfect day!

Marie our tour leader was excellent. Great personality and knew everything about the Greenwich area. Not only was the tour very informative, it was interesting, fun, and the food selections were outstanding! We had been on a similar tour in Boston (by a different company) and this one beat it hands down! Would highly recommend this tour and this tour company.

Great look at an interesting area in NYC. The tour guide was wonderful. He gave historic as well as commercial information about the market and area. The highline and Iron Chef Morimoto's restaurant were a bonus. A must do tour!

Excellent tour. Raheem personable and knowledgable about area, culture and of course food. Good pace to the tour. Kept us moving but not too fast. Excellent that restaurants were expecting us so food was ready for serving and not too long a wait at any one restaurant. Would highly recommend.

We had a most enjoyable afternoon and have already recommended this tour (and our tour guide) to friends. Learned many new and interesting facts and ate more than is possible in one afternoon. VERY Excellent!
