| If you've never been to the Viillage this is THE tour to get. You learn a lot of interesting facts while walking the streets of this "town" within the city. This place definetely feels like you traveled out of NYC. However...don't expect a lot of food. The food tasting is very good and you see a lot of places that are wonderful to visit afterwards but....on the tour itself.....well, I ended up eating lunch an hour later. Another thing...I totally understand the rain or shine policy, but on the day of our tour, it wasn't raining....it was caotic. The whole group ended up wet from hair to toes and the tour wasn't cancelled. It is really difficult to appreciate a place when you have to not only hold an umbrella but also watch out for cars getting you even more wet. | ||||||

| History and tour about the streets and neighborhood were equally, if not more interesting than the food. | ||||||

| The tour was fun, informative, and the time really flew by. My criticism is that there may be more food than needed ( and I am a very good eater). A little more history of the district, perhaps a little more about architecture, and a little less food might be a better mix. | ||||||

| We had a group of four including one 7 year old. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed this tour. One member of our group has lived in New York for 17 years and never knew this existed. He loved it and said he would tell lots of people about it. We have already told friends about this and said it is a MUST SEE! The food was delicious that we sampled and it was incredibly informative. Our tour guide was fun and made the tour enjoyable. After teh tour we went back to the stores and shopped to brinig back treats for ourselves and family members. | ||||||

| I've taken the Greenwich Village tour from the same company twice before and that one is perhaps a fraction more enjoyable, particularly the "eating" element of the tour. However once outside Chelsea Market, I actually found the historical details of the Meatpacking district and the story of how it has recently developed to be fascinating and well told. Bob, our guide, seemed to have a good grasp on the facts and presented the information in an entertaining fashion. A couple of the tastings were unremarkable (the milk place springs to mind) and I would have been happy to miss that out and spend longer looking around establishments in the Meatpacking district. | ||||||

| We all thoughly enjoyed this tour, the food was an adventure and delicious, also the points of interest described by the quide as we ambled along were interesting and informative. I would highly recommend this activity, it appeals to all ages. My fifteen year old grandaughter was with us and enjoyed the event as much as my daughter and I. I can't wait to return to New York and visit Greenwich Village again and wander back to all the places we discovered on the tour. It was an awesome three hours. | ||||||

| I absolutely loved the tour. We not only got to try some great food, but we learned a lot of interesting history of the Village. It was so much more low key than much of the other tourist sites. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone coming to New York, especially those that have been before and are looking for something new to do. | ||||||

| My husband and I signed up for the Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour when it was recommended to us by a friend. We had such an enjoyable experience that I too will recommend that you take the tour and sample some wonderful foods while learning of the history of Greenwich Village. Specifically, you will tour small neighborhoods and learn the history, architecture, and so much more. The food was absolutely delicious...you will sample the most wonderful cheeses, breads, pizza, chocolate chip cookies, gelato and more. Our tour guide, Kurt, was amazingly knowledgable and kept us infomed of why and where we were going. I strongly suggest that you go early in your trip to New York so that you have time to eat at some of the restaurants in the village. | ||||||

| This was a great and informative tour that gave a useful insight into the local area. Don't eat before this tour as you get to sample 2 types of pizza; bread; cheese; cookies; cakes and more! Good value for money and with the added bonus that we were given a comprehensive list of all the local eateries with money off vouchers, so that we could return at a later date. | ||||||
