| Michael was a great guide. My husband was very glad Michael included so much of the history of the west village. I would add only one thing. Wine with the end of the tour cheese tasting. We had a great time. | ||||||

| We loved our tour of Greenwich Village. The guide was very informative and obviously loved his city. He gave interesting detail and history of the area and on top of it all fed us! The food was spectacular, we even returned the following evening for dinner in one of the recommended restaurants and saw someone else from the same tour there! We felt like we were off the beaten track and were not surrounded by tourists as we felt in upper Manhatten. Excellent, I would highly recommend it to future visitors to NYC. | ||||||

| We expected to walk more and explore both the Village and SoHo. Our village tour focused mostly on MacDougal street and immediate environs and the SoHo part I think was when we crossed Houston street and walked couple short streets like Sullivan. We wanted to see more of the area and actually walk--there were so many streets to explore! After the tour we were able to walk on our own so the tour did help with our sense of direction. The food was OK at best save for a nice little morsel of smoked food. One Italian store in particular was spoken highly of and we went inside but we didn't get any food. People wanted to stop and buy something but we had to move on. I appreciated the tidbits of information we were offered about the area. I would advise to stay close to the leader so that you can hear everything, as sometimes the cars and trucks were louder than the voice. It was an interesting outing, and it seemed that most people loved it. However, don't be surprised if you want to stop and have lunch after the outing is over. | ||||||

| I never dreamed that a tour would include so much fine food tasting! The food was excellent, the tour educational and the tour guide had so much information and was so entertaining I wished the tour could be longer! It was so much more than I expected! | ||||||

| At first we weren't too sure we were going to like our tour guide and all his corny jokes and comments. Pretty quickly however we warmed up to him as he started sharing his love of living in this fascinating neighborhood area of NY. We have spent quite a bit of time walking many of these same streets over the years but never had the information to truly enjoy all we were passing by. We also appreciated being taken inside a few of the restaurants and food establishments and introduced to the proprietors who gave interesting insight into their operations. Our tour guide was also quite helpful in that he knew in depth the history of these places. I would have to say that on balance, that while we had plenty to nibble on, and never were the slightest bit hungry, the tour is more slanted toward the history and culture of the Village. We were however given plenty of very helpful ideas for future eating adventures and have already followed up on a few of them. My partner on the tour is a CIA graduate and commented to me after the tour that our guide really knew food and the restaurant business well. If you listened to what he shared with us and embraced his passion for life here, I don't think you could possibly leave the tour without a thoroughly enlightened view of why this neighborhood has been so attractive to such a diverse group of people for so many years. Most enjoyable! A great way to spend a few hours in a wonderfuly part of the city. Fred & Brian | ||||||

| Our tour guide was Mike...he was great! He knew so much about the history of Greenwich Village and shared some of his personal experiences that added in being able to get a real feel for what it was like past and present. The food was outstanding! We especially enjoyed our visit to Oliver & Co.! We would 100% recommend the tour! We will for sure be going back to Greenwich Village on our next visit to NYC! Thanks so much! | ||||||

| i have taken a lot of group tours (all over the world) and Cindy was perfect. I thought that the walking trip was balanced between the history of NYC and the food shops. Great job. | ||||||

| My friend and I planned a girl's day out in the City. Having never been on a tour like this, we weren't sure what to expect. It ended up being a thoroughly enjoyable day and experience. Marie was our tour guide, and was very knowledgeable about the area and fun to be with. The various types of food along the way were delicious, and learning more about the history of the area was fantastic. My friend and I can hardly wait to go back to have dinner at one of the charming small restaurants off the beaten path, and to see a show at Cherry Lane Theatre. We want to experience this area a little more, and then will plan our next Zerve tour, either to Soho or the Meatpacking district! | ||||||

| Four female family members took this tour on a hot August day. It was very informative and much food (too much pizza) was consumed. Our guide (Barri) was NOT very energetic or fun, but it was a hot day so that may have been the reason. We were waiting much of the time standing in the hot sun. A shade would have been nice. Found out lots about Greenwich Village that was interesting. Several of the restaurants would have been nice to visit at leisure, but we were leaving the next day. I would recommend the tour for information about the Village and the local restaurants, but pick a more enthusiastic guide and cooler day. | ||||||
