| What a great find. We came to NYC with an open itinerary and saw the brochure for the Chelsea/MeatPacking tour in our hotel lobby. Gave it a shot and are glad we did. Our leader was entertaining, knowledgeable and gave honest appraisals of hotels, restaurants, etc. in the area. Really appreciated hearing the inside scoop from a real New Yorker of the history of the area. The food tasting were carefully selected and most were delicious. Came away full in both mind and body. | ||||||

| I took this tour for the first time 3 years ago with my girl friend and enjoyed so much that I knew when my husband and I were going to be visiting NYC, that I had to take him on the tour too. It was just as enjoyable the second time and worth every cent! I tell everyone I know that if they are visiting NYC that they have to take the tour. | ||||||

| I took the Greenwich tour a few years back and really enjoyed it, so I figured I'd try this one. It was fantastic! The guide was knowlegeable and entertaining. THe chosen vendors were very good, the area was perfect. I thought the tour was definitely worth the ticket price- food servings were generous- I like the Lobster bisque! Thank you! | ||||||

| This tour was the highlight of our trip to New York. Our hostess, Bari, was excellent. She was a wealth of information and shared her knowledge with us. I found the whole tour to be informative, interesting and fun. It was wonderful to see the back streets of Greenwich Village and hear about the history and some of the people who live there today. The food was an added bonus. Everything was delicious. Our only regret was that we hadn't taken this tour first so we could have returned to Greenwich Village to enjoy all the fine restaurants and visit the shops. Unfortunately, we were returning home later in the day. When we return to New York City, we will take the tour again and perhaps even make Greenwich Village our base. I also look forward to taking other tours offered by Verve / Foods of New York. I work in the travel industry in Hamilton, Ontario and plan to recommend this tour to everyone and anyone who is interested and even those who are not! Thank you for offering such a wonderful tour and our sincerest thanks to our hostess. | ||||||

| This tour was the first thing I did during my weekend vacation to NYC. It was so informative and fun. I wish I could've done a tour of every neighborhood. The food was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgable about the history and architecture of the neighborhood. I think the tour is a great value, at only $40. I have already recommended it to others and would even like to do it again. | ||||||

| Really rather boring. 4 of our 12 wandered off 1/3 of the way into tour. Not much territory covered, More standing than walking. Nothing you wouldn't find just walking mainly down Bleecker St. Guide Susan needs to consider other career opportunities. Not "gourmet" food. Good for clueless types only. | ||||||

| Overall a fantastic experience. I lived in New York a number of years but learned quite a bit from the tour. Food was very good. Guide (Mahalo Cindy!) was outstanding in every way; she made the tour! My girlfriend and I had a blast. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family as well as take the tour again with them and/or the Chelsea/meatpacking district one. | ||||||

| We attended this activity on the recommendation of friends of our great nephew - all who live in NYC. We were on our first time trip to NYC. Our great nephew attended with us as he had never been on the tour before. Our guide was outgoing, enthusiastic and gave us a good overview of the area and much interesting historical information. The food was delicious and a nice variety. The time frame was just right. . It was long enough to be enjoyable without feeling rushed and not too long to be exhausting. --- a great way to experience Greenwich Village. | ||||||
