| Michael was wonderfully fun and informative. In spite of unseasonable rain and cold on 8/10/07 we had a wonderful time. He truly shared his love of Greenwich Village and many of the nooks and crannies of the area that we otherwise would have never known about. I have already told our friends who travel to New York frequently about the tour and I am certain they will take my recommendation. They always do. Thank you so much. | i really enjoyed the tour. but one thing: - i was told that groups wouldt be no more than 6 but aprox 12 were booked for our tour (fortunately six did not show). | ||||||

| I am a true foodie, and was expecting to have lots of small tastings at lots of stalls. Very wrong. Superb tour guide, really fun guy, and told us alot about the history of the area. Would have been better with more tastings. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York! Our tour guide, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable about the area, as he must have been a resident of Greenwich, which really added to the tour experience - it gave you a flavor or what it was like to live in Greenwich - past and present! The food we sampled was delicious, and with the great commentary from our guide made this tour well worth the time and money!! Thanks for a great experience! | ||||||

| I thoroughly recommend to those visiting NY starting with the Greenwich Village Food tasting and cultural tour. Its a great way to discover a number of fabulous restaurants to go back and visit during the trip, whilst also providing some history to NY. Our tour guide was a well informed local and the colour she could add in relation to the changes to the area and her experience in living in NY gave the tour extra flavour than can be gained from tour books. In particular, I went back to Cornelia St cafe for dinner and entertainment a couple of nights after I was on the tour and this turned out to be the highlight of my time in NY. I would never of found this venue with out the tour. This is a great tour for those visting or just moving to NY and I have already started to recomend it to friends planning a future adventure in the US. | ||||||

| this was our 3rd tour with Zerve - we did Chelsea's Market in 2005; Greenwich Village in 2006 and Greenwich/Soho this year (2007). Your tours are GREAT! very informative and the food is delicious and of a great variety. We learned a lot and now will be able to visit these areas on our own and know where to visit. what will we do next year - you've got to come up with something new. | Highly recommended tour due to the personality and vast knowledge of tour guide. Having the business owners visit with the tour group was a nice touch. Tour guide might not want to make assumption that everyone is from out-of-town. I didn't not enjoy the tasting consisting of deep-fried mushrooms as much. | ||||||

| we were not sure about a walking tour, honestly i thought it would be boring especially for three hours! Our guide Kurt was hysterical and we learned so much along the way, all while tasting great food and seeing great restaurants! fantastic.. we LOVED kurt and would recommend anyone taking the tour to try to request him! k jackson | ||||||

| This tour exceeded my expectations. Amy was a very accommodating and knowledgeable guide. She paced the tour well and gave fascinating details of cultural history and tied it to current day tidbits as well. The food was fabulous with nice variety and the handout was particularly useful for the discounts and information included. We even went to one of the restaurants that evening for dinner and a live jazz event. We shopped at some of the stores as well and were very intrigued by the selection. I highly recommend this tour and would consider any of the other Foods of NY offerings. | ||||||
