Great Food and Fun

The three hour tour flies by as you explore the Chelsea Market, MEPA and the far West Village. Our guide, Kurt was exemplary: witty knowledgeable and attentive. The sampling of foods adds up to a fine varied peripatetic lunch. Learned about local lore and the fine points of meat cutting. Will go again and recommend to friends: Turly a movable feast!

Our tour guide (Kurt) was not only able to gives us an excellent overview of the Chelsea Mkt, but he also gave us historical background of the Nabisco Bldg (which is home to the Chelsea Mkt.), and the surrounding neighborhood. What I enjoyed most (besides the food), that I was able to experience a part of NYC that I was not familiar with, and it was great alternative to spending the day in the "mid-town" area. This tour was a lot fun, and I highly recommend it. J.G Yorktown Heights, NY

A great way to spend 3 hours. Very informative, the food samplings were great, and the guide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. Money well spent.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the foods, culture, and neighborhood. I would go on another food tour if he was the guide. Lots of great samples of the food from Central Village.

My daughter and I went on the noon tour earlier today and I think it speaks to the quality of the tour that I am taking the time to commend it despite being exhausted after a long day in Manhattan. Heather was our guide and she was as charming as she was knowledgeable. Each tasting along the way was very good quality, with Palma and Soy ans Sake being personal favorites. I should also mention that the tour was very manageable despite its three hour length; I have two bad knees and I was never distressed. The pace is effective and the detail quite appropriate to this type of tour. Both my daughter and i really enjoyed ourselves and we will recommend it to friends and other family members. Great job, Heather!

Kurt as a fabulous tour guide, food was plentiful with lots of variety and delicious. I did not expect to walk into an early 1800's farmhouse in Manhattan. I need a Murray's cheese shop in my neighbrhood! Everyone in my group raved about this tour.

Great tour with great tastes

Our guide, Carrie-Anne, was really good in telling the group exciting things about the neighbourhoods and the restaurants we visited. You could tell she loved her work. The tastings was as good as everything else. We had our 14 year old daughter with us. She loved the tour as much as we did. It was a great mix of different tastings. The next time we visit NY, we will go on another of your tours. Another great thing about this activity was learning to know people from USA and other countries. To sum it up. We are very satisfied with the arrangement. In fact, it was one of the best things we did during our week in NY. Best wishes from family Orrgren in Sweden

When travelling, I like to try to find activities that are a little different from the norm. I came across this tour when searching for walking tours of Greenwich Village - the inclusion of food tastings while walking sounded good - and so it proved to be. The food tastings were delicious, varied and plentiful. Our guide for the tour (Kerri-Anne) was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and delightful. I enjoyed the tour from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a food tour in New York and/or anyone interested in doing something a little different from the usual tourist activities.

This Food Tour was great. The amount of food you get on the tour is plenty, and lets you sample the great varities that Grennwich Village offers. The tour guide with their knowledge of the area and thet background also provide a fun and informative tour. Highly recommend to anyone!

All four of us really enjoyed the tour. We had plenty of delicious foods to taste, and the history of Greenwich Village was so interesting. I will definitely recommend it to friends. The pace of the tour was just right, and doing it earlier in the day is more comfortable before the temps go up!

I have been to New York City over the past eight summers, and this tour definitely ranks among my favorite things that I have done there. Our group tasted excellent and unique foods, and learned a lot of interesting facts about the Central Village and SoHo neighborhods. This couldn't have been accomplished without our amazing tour guide, Diana!
