| We were 6 people, some from NYC, others LI and CT. It was the redemption of a birthday gift for one couple and the other 4 decided to tag along. We were met by Heather and she promptly gave each of us water and asked if we needed a poncho. We learned about the neighborhood and found that the landmark info was particularly informative. The tastings were good and the pace easily managed. Because it was cold, we didn't take our free gelato. It was good when we stopped at a spot and were able to get in from the cool temperatures. I have told others about it and hope that some of these people will try it in the future. We will look into other tours of yours in the future. | ||||||

| The tour started right on time. Our tour guide was a delight. He was well informed, answered all our questions. The tour is definitely I would recommend, and will considered doing other tours with your company. | ||||||

| Unfortunately there was a nor'easter that morning but the tour guide tried to keep us in warm places as long as possible. Tour guide Heather was sweet and accomodating. Food sampling was ample. Probably would have enjoyed our tour more if it wasn't pouring. | ||||||

| We would have had an incredible time had it not been for our very obnoxious and nasty guide. The tour itself is amazing and well worth the money. We were two families with two children each and it was very apparent the tour guide did not like children. If children are not welcome than it needs to be made known. Our children were all very upset with the entire situation as were we. We were left behind on many occasions because the guide was running behind on her time schedule and was rushing us from place to place. It was a freezing cold rainy day and we needed to get jackets on the kids before heading outside to do the meat packing part of the tour and she was across the street before we could even get the kids ready and out the door. As a business owner my self, the net is that individuals such as our tour guide can cause ireperable damage to your business. Customer experience is key to a successful business and this individual clearly left such a negative feeling that I had to share with you so that in the future you can continue to prosper. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the tour and have already recommended it to friends. I would not recommend bringing children on this tour. There were four school aged children who were not interested after the first stop and really took away from the tour for the rest of the group. So get a babysitter and enjoy the day with some friends! There was plenty of good food and intreresting facts for the tourist or local alike. We live locally and couldn't believe the history behind a building we see all the time! We will definitely be back to enjoy the food and scenery. | ||||||

| Loved this experience. Our guide was very informative regarding the shops and restaurants we visited as well as the local history. It was a great way to see the neighborhood and sample some excellent cuisine. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and intersting to do in NYC. | ||||||

| We happened to join the tour on a stormy day. The tour did not start well when a family of 8 was 10 minutes late. Diana, our guide, had to situate them, re-organize and rush back on schedule. This group of 8 had 4 children under 12 (one in stroller). Based on what I observed, young children in a group are not suited for this type of tour. They were eager to get to the food, asked random questions, and jostled around the adults and at times, they lost interest.. It was a challenging uncomfortable, distracting and tense 3 hours between Diana, the parents and the rest of the tour group. The content of the tour was fun, interesting and veyr enjoyable. Beside having the ability to taste various food offerings, we saw the inside of the Morimoto and Del Posto restaurants. It would have been great if we could have seen the Food Network stages or kitchens. My daughter (24yrs old) and I I would do the tour again at a different neighborhood. | ||||||

| I have been on 3 of the Foods of NY tours and have enjoyed all of them. I had much anticipation for the Japanese tasting event as our guide had talked about it on the last tour we had gone on, before the Japanese event was available. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent. We took my parents who had been to Japan and they learned a lot. This event has the same casual, fun-loving, welcoming feel as the tours. We eat sushi weekly and were thrilled to try all different types of food as well as to learn how to eat sushi "properly". This is an event not to be missed...I hope they create others like this! | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Cindy, won us over from the first words that she uttered. She immediately made us feel welcomed and handed my husband a tray of food made specially for him due to his food allergies...most appreciated!! Cindy's familiarity with the Greenwich neighbourhood came through to the 4 of us as she told us the history and how the area evolved as a part of Manhattan in New York City. She waved at and talked to friends along the way and at all times she made us her #1 priority. Cindy took great care to make sure that everyone was included in all that she was saying and at the same time she was very respectful of the merchants who shared their foods with us. At the conclusion of our tour we all decided to make Greenwich Village the area that we will stay in on our next trip to New York. This tour was certainly in the top 3 of our highlights on this our second trip to New York. | ||||||

| The tour was informative and the guide was very enthusiastic. The tour locations were unique, some spots having better treats than others. If you are truly interested in the history of Greenwich Village, then this tour is great. My date and I got a little bored, especially as we seemed to linger in some spots for a bit too long and our minds began to wander. But we are glad we went, as we got to see little hidden away spots of the Village that we had never seen before. My only complaint would be that the guide had a slight cold and was constantly blowing her nose. It wouldn't have been a big deal if it weren't for the fact that she was handling the food that we were tasting, and it made it a bit unappetizing. At one point she was talking over a tray of food that we were about to eat, and she kept running her hands through her hair over it. This was probably an isolated incident and should not be a factor to dissuade you from going. All in all, we enjoyed the tour. I probably wouldn't do it again, but I am glad that I can now go back to the Village and I know which spots to hit! | ||||||

| This was my second foods of new york tour and I had even more fun the second time around. Both of the tours took place in the village. Despite that, all the information and places we visited were new. The weather wasn't all that great, but that didn't not affect my enjoyment at all. I would recommend this tour to anyone! | ||||||
