| I thought the guide was very knowledgeable and the food choices were very good. This is my second tour and I like that it is small groups. This guide was courteous and certainly good, but not "warm and fuzzy". A little stand-offish. And perhaps that is intended. | ||||||

| The tour was so much fun and we ate some amazing food. Our tour guide Cindy was so upbeat and it seemed like all of the local vendors knew her extremely well. She really went out of her way to personalize everything. The weather was rainy and miserable but the time flew with how much fun we had. I'd recommend this tour to anyone! Local or tourist. | ||||||

| We LOVED the Greenwich Village tour! It was so much fun to check out the little neighborhood foods, restaurants & businesses that you might never otherwise see while in NYC. There are so many big, commercialized things to see in NYC, but the really great things are the ones that only the locals know about - the real jewels of the Big Apple. I would absolutely recommend this tour & would totally do it again myself. WELL WORTH IT! | ||||||

| The entire experience was terrific! Well organised, conducted with enthusiasm and filled with informative narrative. The tasting portions are large and quite delectable. I left with an appreciation and insight into Japanese culinary traditions, and increased confidence when next ordering Japanese food. No mean feat for an evening's session. I would suggest this tour for anyone who is curious about Japanese food. It is an excellent introduction. Also, it demystifiesJapanese cuisine and makes for an evening of fun, food and great sake/beer! I have every intention of attending this again on my next visit to New York. Our culinary guide was wonderful! Fun and open to questions. He added so much to the experience with his humour, knowledge and passion for japanese cuisine! | ||||||

| The tour was really great. I have lived here in NY for almost 7 years and the tour was able to finally explain me the difference between a red and a green street name signs. Loved it… I got introduced to some awesome hidden bars and restaurants. Amazing food stores and great pizza… I also loved the historical facts and architecture explanations about the houses and the area. LOVED IT!!! | ||||||

| I was the only international visitor, and since I am Italian, my perspective when it comes to the food tasting we had was probably a bit different. But although I might be more interested in the way italian culture (and particularly food) has permeated through the NY lifestyle, the fact is that all the food we tasted was absolutely GREAT ! I do cook and bake myself, and I am particularly interested in pizza making. Honestly, NY style pizza can be just as good as what you find in Italy. I am always amazed by the sweetness of the simple tomato sauce and the freshness of the locally made mozzarella. And of course, I must mention our guide Amy. She has been a great guide ! Thank you Amy, if you read this, for your very interesting comments and the very pleasant atmosphere you have created. Whenever I have a chance, I will take some of the other tours and warmly recommend this one to all my friends. Vito (Italian living in Belgium) | ||||||

| this is our 2nd food tour. the 1st being the greenwich village tour. that was great, this was even better. we had more varieties of food choices and learned a good deal of the market and the area - definitely useful & effective in giving us a lot of incentive to return & frequent the area & restaurants! my wife & I especially loved the gelato at the gelateria that was showcased. along w/the GV food tour, our guide was knowledgeable and had just the right amount of energy & personality to keep the group involved. overall, it was an excellent way to open the 'door' into the market & meat district. | ||||||

| This is the perfect way to see a smaller section of the city with an enthusiastic guide. I will take the other tours you offer when in NYC. A perfect way to learn the smaller more intimate spots to go.. I went back to the small Italian restaurant the next day b/c it was so quaint and charming.. a great experience. | ||||||

| We loved our tour of the village with our guide Curt. It was truly our favorite thing to do in New York. Curt was amazing, giving us history of the area, knew so much trivia and also knew everyone in this fabulous neighborhood. We had so much to eat and visited many more places than what was actually stated in the tour description. I just can not say enough good things about the village. Do not miss it!! I guarantee you will love it. I only wish we had a few more days to go back and dine at some of these cute restaurants. We have already referred many others (even locals). | ||||||

| Marie's passion for the food, history, and culture of Greenwich Village truly brought the area to life. No guidebook can compare to her delightful and entertaining storytelling abilities that educated our group on "secret, insider-only" information that makes a tourist feel like a local. I have placed the printed guide from my tour in a safe spot, as it will be a valuable resource on my next visit to New York. Keep up the excellent work, because I'm already looking forward to my next tour! | ||||||

| We positively loved the tour. I chose it because of my interest in food. My husband enjoyed the food of course (as everything you get to taste is delish) but he also liked the background info you get about the neighborhood and its history. We later went back to one of the restaurants visited on the tour. We had a really nice evening and really, really good food. We heartily recommend the tour to everybody! | ||||||

| i really enjoyed the tour. but one thing: - i was told that groups wouldt be no more than 6 but aprox 12 were booked for our tour (fortunately six did not show). | ||||||
