Foods of New York Tours

This was a third tour and we enjoyed it as thoroughly as the previous two tours. Although it was raining the entire time, the food, stores, and history still made for a fantastic tour. Our guide, Raheem, is high-energy, fun, and knowledgeable and he kept the tour moving and made each stop and taste come to life. We plan to do the other two tours during our next couple of visits to the city. Also, the food tastings provide more than enough lunch for the heartiest of eaters. We are all quite full by the end of the tour.

Our tour guide, Darryl + all the free food samples (be sure you come hungry) + the history of the marketplace and the meatpacking district was very interesting. Walking along the High Line was likewise interesting and the views were great. Would definitely recommend this tour for any group.

If you want a chance to see the sights, taste the food ,and learn some history about Greenwich Village then this is the tour for you. Very informal but well organized to maximize the time spent. I really enjoyed it all.

Great experience. Really nice host. He kept everyone entertained and made sure everyone was included. Wonderful food and new food experiences to enjoy. Interesting explainations of the food, areas and businesses we visited.

The tour was a highlight of our trip to New York - the food was delicious and we bought olive oil from O & Co and other items from Murray's cheese shop. The best part was the information that we learned - Bert was very knowledgable. I particularly liked the building information - architecture, the hidden gems that he was able to let us view. We felt that we had an insight into Greenwich Village that most tourists may not be exposed to. All in all it was a delightful experience and one that we will repeat and tell our friends about. The tour itself was great, and the tour guide was amazing. There was a lot of interesting history with PLENTY of food to go with it. It was a great experience and we are looking forward to other tours in the future.

I loved the history of the market. The tastings were great. The guide was very informed. She was fun and seemed to really enjoy her job. I would recommend you take the tour. A wonderful way to spend a few hours.

Our guide was Sephrah! I had taken my friend for our 23rd birthday, the tour guide, was unbelievably awesome! The food was amazing and the whole experience was something I am looking forward to doing again.

We did the tour the first day of our 7 day stay in NY. It was a great start to the visit and gave us some places to return to for meals later on in our visit. The food was great and by the end of the tour you had completed a 'meal'. The focus is the food but with some history of the district. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Our guide Bert did a great job. He was informative and entertaining. We were traveling with our teenage kids who had never been to NYC before and they loved it as well. They ranked the tour as their 2nd favorite activity in NYC. Attending a Broadway play only narrowly beat them for first. I would highly recommend the tour and will take another the next time we're back!

We loved this tour. Anny was an amazing guide. I was touring with 2 8th grade girls who really enjoyed themselves learning about the area and tasting the wonderful food. It was a really great way to spend one of our days in NYC. We will definitely do another tour. This was our 3rd.

I highly recommend the village/soho tour!!! The tour guide susan was fantastic--learning about the culture and history of the village/soho from her was so interesting! The food was also all incredible. Great variety as well. You get a ton of food too--i was in a food coma afterwards!

Our family had a wonderful time. We toured the west village and our guide (Bert) was fantastic! I have teenage children and it can be hard to find things that appeal to all of us. They loved it!! They remembered some of the interesting facts that they learned and they really enjoyed the tastings! A great way to spend a few hours in NYC!
