| Our experience with the food tour was really a positive one. Our guide, Heather, was very knowledgeable about the area, the history and background. She shared lots of details and made the experience fun. And the food.....yummy! We got to sample many different types of food and had more than enough. We covered a lot of area but went at a pace comfortable for the group. This tour was a highlight of our trip and would be eager to do some of the other food tours of other areas. The cost of the tour was very reasonable and the quality was superb! Thanks! | ||||||

| Our guide was extremely competent and with a great sense of humour. Lots of insider tips about restaurants and shops in Chinatown, lots of delicious food to taste and lots of laughs. I loved the whole experience! | ||||||

| As a native New Yorker this was the first food tour I've ever participated in - I will be signing up for all the others that Zerve has to offer!! Raheem was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly. Definitely show up hungry - the food is fabulous and there is alot of it !! Dim Sum Go Go is my new favorite restaurant :) | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed this so much - Michael was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide and kept us entertained. The food was delicious and just enough. Personally,I didn't care for the Centro tasting, which was a lamb dish and I thought it was rather bland, but my husband loved it. Loved hearing the history of the neighborhood and the buildings around it,and it was well worth the time and money. | ||||||

| We enjoyed our tour guide Marie, she was knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. Her discription and information about the area was very interesting. All of the food was wonderful, with one exception, the new feature you have just added, the Cento. We felt the food there was not special, and had little flavor or appeal. | ||||||

| This was my second food tour and equally as good as the first(Greenwich/Soho). Tour guide was incredible, so knowlegable both on the area, New York in general and we felt he really knew the area. We went back to dinner at Palmo and shopped in several shops we'd been in an couple of nights later. We would stay in that area and go to those theaters on our next trip! | ||||||

| Four ladies from Vancouver/Toronto enjoyed this tasty tour with a friendly tour guide. Having taken the Soho Food and Cultural tour last autumn I expected this tour to include more history and culture away from the main streets into the quieter neighbourhood. The emphasis seemed to be more on the restaurant history and food provided rather than neighbourhood history which would have been more interesting and appreciated. Overall, no complaints about our guide or food tasted. When our guide asked each of our names before starting out, it would be more meaningful for each person to state where he/she was from, simply as a conversational starter for this group of strangers who would now spent three hours together. We would recommend more time explaining the history of the neighbourhood be included. | ||||||

| I have taken this tour before a few years ago. Some of the highlights of that tour were not on this one for various reasons. I loved seeing the private room in Palma but we didn't do that because the oven was being cleaned, I also liked to go in and see the small stage which we also didn't and 86 Bedford with the gas leak was a disappointment. On the other side, I liked the 2 new tastings (the olive oil and gnoki). Those were both great additions. Our tour guide was good, I liked my first guide a bit better. | ||||||

| Id was really a great experience. The tourist guide was really in to her local stuff. And she was easy to understand. You really feel you know the Greenwich area after the tour. Great food and really really great cookies :o) | ||||||

| I highly recommend taking this tour. You get to experience a part of New York you might miss on a typical tourist visit. The tour guide does a great job of explaining the history and culture of Greenwich Village and takes you to some very good restaurants and food stores which provide some delicious food. My wife and I took the tour and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. | ||||||

It should have been called "Restaurant Promotion"

| Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable but a little of her credibility became lost when she effused that every restaurant was the best. The first hour and a half of the tour became more like an advertorial for the restaurants versus a cultural food tasting experience. I would have enjoyed a more eclectic food tasting as opposed to a mainly Italian high carbohydrate sampling. It would have been great to interject Greek, Thai etc. foods in addition to veggie tastings. The second half of the tour was informative and interesting when we walked the local streets and learned about the architecture and importance of highlighted buildings. | ||||||
